Will the Saudis pay up? It's us, so I doubt we'll get anything. Most likely will try to get released on a free so that any fee would get added to his Saudi salary.
He has 2 years left on his 350K a week contract, thats 35m in total. No way he agrees to terminate his contract unless someone else offers him similar money.

I’ve seen my Gran move faster than him. Granted she was in Ash form and assisted by the wind but still. He makes Juan Mata look like Usain Bolt.

Had a terrible, terrible game today. He carried us last season, but his legs are shot now. I'd pay him off at this point. 80 fecking million.

Glasgow resident these days.
If he's got any respect, he will look for a move to Saudi this summer. Bit of a reach on my behalf I know, but he must realise he's not cut out for PL football anymore. The fecking Titanic has a quicker turning circle than him. Very poor today...again.

Chubby cheeks. Coventry gave him and Maguire all the time they wanted on the ball first half. Just sat back. For whatever reason. He looked pretty good then.
As soon as they pushed forward a bit and pressed us we were in trouble.

I'm hopeful that a manager that plays with some kind of midfield structure might mean he can be good again next season. But then even having said that, it's a concern when your midfielder can't run. Especially these days.

He must have had 25 kgs of lead in each boot, but he was always going to exposed there, not sure why Ten Hag thought it was a good idea.

Get this fat waste of space out the club as soon as possible.

Needs to go doesn’t he. Definitely no future career at CB.

I'm pretty sure you can just walk past him now. Old age hit him like a rock last summer.

He's lost his pace and he doesn't even try to compensate for it by being smarter in his positioning.

Was good last season, but he really looks slow and finished.

Did great today, played out of position. Team did great with quarter of a defence. Hopefully a few back by time of final

I actually thought he did well as a CB for most of the game. That Coventry player getting past him in ET with ease was a tough watch though. And his penalty was really poor.

Ah, I remember the times it was blasphemy to criticise this man. The amount of stick I got when I said this was a terrible signing when he first arrived was only rivaled by the amount of stick I got when I said Antony would be a terrible signing. Everyone was happy with that transfer window except me because I actually watched these guys.

Unlike most, I don't think he's in poor form or doing anything different than what I've seen him do for years. He was rubbish last season where some important goals masked many a poor performance, and I didn't like him at Madrid either, which was why I was against the signing. He's always been rash in the challenge. He's always been poor in possession when he's not had press resistant partners next to him to bail him out. He's always been weak under pressure. Sure, ten Hag's horrendous setup does none of our players any favours, but his deficiencies as a player were always there regardless of the system.

The one thing I can say is that he's probably not the most overrated player we've ever had anymore because everyone is realising how poor he is. I can't wait to see the back of him because not only is he rubbish, he clearly doesn't give a fluff about Manchester United after everything he achieved at Madrid. He checked out before even arriving here.

Maguire had the sort of performance I'd expect of Casemiro, who was an absolute liability all game. The number of times Dalot or Maguire dug Casemiro out of a hole was concerning.

As you say you can't be -too- harsh, he was playing out of position, but he didn't do "great". And the players he was up against were championship journeymen. Not a good look.

Looking over my shoulder.
Anyone else thinking he’s carrying an injury but playing through it? He’s extremely slow but nowhere close to sprinting. Evra was something similar, albeit still faster as he was extremely fast to begin with, in Ferguson’s last year -played with a foot injury I believe.

Can’t deny he was a fantastic player. Father Time has got him. Looks like Coventry treated him like an ageing boxer and punch himself out before attacking. He never have partnered maguire considering mctominay has played centre back quite a bit and with our brutal protection of back four would have better legs

This is why you don’t play huge money and massive contracts to players coming towards the of there career. It never ends well.

He's had a mare this season and he's only going to get worse.

I don’t think he was terrible, given that he’s not a CB, there are no stable relations in current defence, the protection was what it is, and that player types like Ellis Simms and Haji Wright, while not being top of PL standards, are players with individual strengths to test PL CBs when set up properly. He did a lot of clever moves, and some chaotic ones.

You can clearly see that he is troubled by his own loss of pace, though. That can throw a player off his timing quite a bit. Something has happened to his speed very abruptly. It might be an unusually abrupt age onset, but it might also be other stuff, like an injury related issue or some cock up in training dosages. It’s not a given he can’t come back better next season, but it’s a big chance to take probably.

Had a feeling he was going to miss. It's clear to see his legs are gone and honestly i think his professionalism too. The guy doesn't looked locked in, he seems checked out. Must be gone this summer.

Casemiro was almost washed at Madrid as well. He sometimes performed very bad in his last season but was essential in the big games.
You also have to question Manchester United. Something must be wrong with the mentality in the club. Any player that moves to United seems to flop/underperform.

The number of players that has flopped at United last 10 years is astonishing.

He really did not give a shit with that penalty.
These things happen, more often than not the keeper will dive so going down the middle is a perfectly viable tactic.

Should be moved on regardless, it's a waste to hope he'll stay fit and in form when we can just field younger and fitter players than him.

I mean, if you don't want to take a penalty, don't take it.

Also doesn't he usualy slam his pens into the corner?!
