This kid looks decent. Worth a punt in the summer?

A lot of people here refused to admit that he was at least talented and had ability/there was a good reason we bought him. A mixture of mismanagement by the club, and problems on his own part no doubt, but there is clearly a very good player there.

Some people will never learn. Doesn't matter how bad a player is, how awful he behaves, how unprofessional he is. All will be forgiven and forgotten after one or two decent performances. Not just talking about Sancho here either.

Maybe he just needs a coach at United that isnt Solksjaer or Ten Hag? If Tuchel comes in, I cant see him wanting to sell him,

Who cares? I can't even name one outstanding performance of his for us. At most, a couple of tidy games. He was tried in multiple positions given 3 months off in the middle of the season - what did we get from it?

We should let him go. Even if he turns out to return to being a good player. Everyone is replaceable - that's part of what made us successful. If we're to return to that, we need to bring that ruthlessness back.

Just keep loaning him out till his contract expires, or pay the difference in salary on his existing contract and sell him this summer window.

It’s a real shame Dortmund have shown knowledge of how to use him in two separate stints. We never once tried to use him correctly to the point purchasing him seemed to have occurred by mistake.
How would you suggest that we use him? Because we played him on the right, left, 10 and false 9. Never once for us has he shown the amount of effort for Man United as he showed in any game for Dortmund this year.

Best I've seen him look in years this second half. The class is there for all to see wish he gave this much of a feck for us.

Dominating PSG again, hope when a new manager arrives he will be back. Over time, maybe he was right about Ten Hag being a liar btw.

Even if he found form again he’s not suited to the PL. Too slow. Too passive. Not good enough work rate. He’ll be fine at Dortmund.
Because our team is not a team, too reliant on individual ability and not combination play.

I wouldn't mind him if he can fix his attitude and professionalism, he could do very well in a possession based team.

Think he would be sold, but Bruno, Garnacho, Mainoo, Sancho, Onana and Dalot is 6 players towards a full lineup.

I don't think Solskjær did coach him much. Wasn't he injured or unfit when he arrived and Ole was sacked 2-3 months later.

Amazing performance by the lad. Dortmund should just send the check to United rightaway.

Getting flashbacks to people insisting Lukaku was world class after we sold him.

I don't think he's playing much differently than he did for United. Some quick feet to get away from pressing defenders. Then a lot of sideways passing and dribbling.

He's been ok, but BT's coverage want you to think he's having a worldie.

He still can’t hack it in the PL. I lost count of the amount of times he lost the ball purely because he wanted an extra second on it. He gets that in the CL and in Germany.

Fair fecks to him, a perfect example of why so many fail at United, the pressure and expectation is just on another level to almost any other club.
Dortmund’s a great fit for him, definitely worth them spending 40m to get him back.
Excellent loan hopefully.

Hebis playing well but it is no help if he does well every 10th game. Hope we trick BVB into buying him and I am sure he will do better there than at United

Why would BVB buy him when they can loan him and not paying his 350k/week salary?

I don't think he has to be a winger, more like an inside forward behind a striker. like a RAM or LAM position. the fullback such as a Dalot creates width.

He dribbled more in 30 minutes of this game than he ever did at United. He's playing nothing like he did at United intensity wise, and it's that intensity that meant he failed here.

The dribble stat is misleading tbf. He's had a cracking second half but only seen him do the full back on the outside once.

I can’t See Wilcox wanting to sell him either, he was his under 18 coach, ironically Sabitzer as CM/8 looks miles better than Amrabat, Eriksen or Casemiro with his engine, never understood getting rid of him and Fred when we could have had both for £5m more than Amrabat’s loan fee!

He was utter dogshit for us. Abysmal.

Seems to be playing with a bit more freedom at Dortmund, like he's the main man.

For his own sake and career, he's probably better off staying there. For whatever reason, I don't think he's capable of recreating his Dortmund form at United.

I personally don't rate him but the way we play is not meant for technical pass and move players. We bought a player without knowing what system he thrives in.
Do you think he is a better player than Antony? Do you think based on their qualities he is more likely to succeed in EPL than Antony?
Curious to hear what your opinion is.

He's been brilliant today. Back to his best.

While I don't think he's suited to the prem, ten hag pushing Antony ahead of Sancho so much is criminal. Also just says a lot about our own ineptitude that we couldn't get anything out of him.

He's clearly a very good player and good enough to succeed in the PL, we're just a basket case where few players succeed, especially attacking players. Would like to see him get another chance here, under a different manager.
