Think Freo will beat the Eagles this weekend. No LeCras, Nic Nat, and McGovern really leaves West Coast down on personnel. Just need us to do the business against Geelong (who look good lately) and get that top 2 spot.

Hawthorn's biggest worry should be the potential of two trips to Perth just to make the grand final if Fremantle and West Coast finish top two and win their respective week one finals. Winning in Perth qualifying final weekend is far from beyond them.
 
I have nothing against Alan Richardson but we are ranked 18th for using the corridor and that is a bit concerning.

I would rather see us take a bit more risks tbh.
 
Hird sacked.

Apologies for not being able to do the tipping last week, I'll sort it out this week.
 
So, Mark Harvey will probably take charge for the rest of the season if these reports of Hird's departure are true. From an Bombers perspective, this is the best thing for them as a club. One wonders where they'd be had Mark Thompson remained in as coach.

Yeah I do unfortunately, that place rots my brain though. I used to post to WUM on Bay13 a little, so if I happened to offend any of you on there then I apologise!
 
TV rights deal to be announced today I think. 7, fox footy retain the rights. Still part of the current deal, as many as 12 Thursday night games could be on next season.

I have to admit I really like the Thursday night games since there's nothing on TV anyway.
 
Going from what I heard on Classified last night, yes I watch that show, Fox footy will still simulcast Channel 7 games barring the Grand Final. Channel 7 will still retain live and exclusive rights to the Grand Final. There'll be no night Grand Final as part of this deal.
