GOP will still be running against Obamacare in Hillary's re-election campaign.

Would be amazing if Trump managed to make the debates.

Jon Stewart may just have to make a comeback.

Yeah he can but that won't guarantee continued support in the polls.
For sure. One other difference is everyone knows he's batshit crazy already. Will be tough for him to have a moment that will shock people like the other somewhat unknowns. My guess is he'll lose ground once a few others drop out and their votes are redistributed. I don't see him going beyond 15%.

Supreme Court upheld ACA. 6-3, 4 liberals plus Kennedy and Roberts. Scalia's dissent is hilarious.
5-4 decision by supreme court has ruled that gay marriage is legal nationwide. Incredible turn around really.

Maybe hope for those involved in culture wars now regarding other issues (marijuana legalisation, gun control)?

Those battles need to be fought from the legislative and executive levels of government.

Good Lord - nearly a year since I last posted :smirk:

Gays lol - no wait....Fundamentalists everywhere :D:D:D:D

Like, can't someone just find incriminating photos of Scalia, Thomas and a donkey in compromising situations, forcing their resignations?
Urm, just the fact that Thomas´wife is a very well paid tea party lobbyist, lobbying against such things as ACA, is completely unacceptable. And a couple years ago she "forgot" to claim about $800,000 in lobbying fees in a tax fraud. Incredible the things these people get away with.

Trump called Mexican immigrants "criminals and rapists" last week....he cannot be serious about running...the only reason he is pretending to run is to promote himself and his shitty TV show.

That was quite funny since they are such a big part of the electorate. He's not in this for real any way, just to gain some publicity for his business projects.

The GOP are on the complete back foot now - they've been trounced on Obamacare and Gay Rights on successive days, and are also having to back pedal on other issues like the Rebel Flag.

That's just the thing. People know this is what he is like. There are no gotcha surprises.

They must be familiar with being on the wrong side of history about everything by now, surely.

If this keeps up by next week the GOP will have to concede that both Climate change and evolution are real!

In the future, Obama's presidency will be viewed as very successful, in my opinion. I really wonder what he could have achieved if everything he tried to do was not blocked by the tea baggers.

And everybody´s favourite right wing GOP gal, Sarah Palin - her daughter, Bristol, after having reaped nearly a million dollars in abstinence lobbying and campaigning, is now pregnant with her second out of wedlock child.

This whole party has become such a scam.

Delighted that we've (US) caught up with society and realized that in 2015 it's pretty ridiculous to be having anything against gay marriage, especially if you're an established first-world country.

It's a big step forward in the right direction.

You are torn between Bush and Sanders?!
Those men are polar opposites.
A pragmatic with a chance to win and an idealist who is a marginal candidate. Don't see a better candidate unless Mitten runs again.

In fairness, I think worldwide it's only really pushed forward in the last 5 years, and in terms of popular opinion the US has been in positive territory for a while.
