See, I liked Ruminations because it was raw and sparse. Salutations kinda takes the most interesting thing about the album away imo.Conor Oberst has released 'Salutations' today, which is basically a live-band version of last years 'Ruminations', with a few extra songs chucked in. I liked Ruminations but it felt a little sparse and undercooked. Salutations sounds brilliant so far.
That's a heavy listen.That Mount Eerie album......
The sum is definitely not greater than the parts. Sounds too dialed in with each singer bringing their b-game.BNQT, led by Eric Pulido, is a collaboration between members of Midlake and Ben Bridwell (Band of Horses), Alex Kapranos (Franz Ferdinand), Fran Healy (Travis), and Jason Lytle (Grandaddy). Their first album, titled Volume 1, is due to be released on April 28 via Dualtone/Bella Union
That was super.
I can't tell if I like it or not... The synths on it are great. Snoop Dogg does a good job on it too. Might be a grower.Been listening to the new TLC release. I'm really enjoying it and I love that they've blatantly just decided to make it sound like it's from 20 years ago.
Was released today. Highly recommend checking his YouTube channel for the Vevo uploads overnight. https://www.youtube.com/user/ChrisStapletonVEVOChris Stapleton. The sooner he drops an album in 2017, the better for us all.
Thugger is on form. He lit up on his features on Pick up the phone and Sacrifices.soty

Jeffrey got a mink on he look like cub! I wish he wasn't signed to such a lame labelBeen waiting for him to straight out sing like forever, would definitely listen to an acapella album.
Btw. Frank x Thugger !!! It's been taken down everywhere but I found a version with an incognito title.
Can't wait for the Hus album next week.UK rappers probably ahead of US at the moment. J Hus, Mo Stack, Kojo Funds, Santan Dave, Mist, Abra Cadabra, Nines, Lotto Boyz, Big Tobz then you have people like Skepta and Giggs. Feels a lot fresher at the moment.
Yuh! He's playing in my fair city tonight but couldn't make it. He was in Manchester last night and it looked live! Can't wait for the Hus album next week.
What do you think of the new Kodak Black album? I'm a big fansoty
I think 'First Day Out' is better than most songs on his album which had some very good songs but felt a bit bloated and a bit too clean. Kodak sounds best when the soundscapes around him are little rougher and urgent and he can transmit the tension that surrounds him (see: No Flockin').What do you think of the new Kodak Black album? I'm a big fan
You Said is pretty great too.Young Thug's new album is pretty good. Stand outs for me are Take Care, She Said, Relationships and Daddy's Birthday.
