He is at the right club with the right manager.

Sky is the limit.

That first touch! what came after was expected. What a player.

Mint. He needs more game time to polish decision making, but in a game like this that is a bit more tight.

We know he's fantastic when the game opens up.

He's just got a great attitude to try stuff and always wants the ball. First half wasn't amazing but he seems to be great the later a game goes on

Had poor decision making every now and then but he kept getting into dangerous positions and deserved the goal. He's a joy to watch at times

Would help if the ref acty booked the right back when he pulled garnacho back, you just couldn't defend against him on a yellow.
People need to chill out about him losing the ball here and there. He gets into dangerous and attacking positions so often, that even if he messed up 5 out of 7 attempts, the 2 attempts are usually much higher than someone like Martial will be able to create during a game. No other player since young Ronaldo and maybe current inform Rashford scares defenders as much as Nacho running at them.

Proper CR 03-05 vibes going on tonight with him, both the good and the bad.

That goal was well taken as feck though, superb striking technique.

He just gets turned on after 60 minutes. Got aggresive and running at West Ham. Good finish as well

What a player. Perfectly happy to go whichever way the defender gives him with no hesitation.

He's so fecking direct compared to anybody else we have, even Rashford. His first touch feels like it's always in a direction to try and get past the defender.

I know people use the match thread to blow off steam but some of the comments about Garnacho were really over the top in there tonight. Yeah, his defensive support could do with improving and he does occasionally get muscled off the ball but that's part of the learning experience, people need to chill with how harsh they are on him.

Just a magnificent talent. He is incredibly brave and confident, all while having skill to go with it. Going to the very top this kid.

Super talent. Just a complete diamond of a winger. A bit of polishing by ETH and he can be anything in a few years.

There were so many times he had a brilliant first touch. It was fantastic to watch how he used his first touch to progress the ball forward instantly which caught the defenders by surprise every time and by the time they realised what he'd done, he was already way ahead of them.

Reminds me so much of an 18 year old Ronaldo.

He can be world class if he wants

Brilliant work rate. He seems to listen and it shows, deserved goal too for his effort and fight tonight.

Was a threat throughout, certainly more than Antony. Then a good finish for the goal to put us through

Needs to keep putting in the work and he'll be more consistent. Someone mentioned before he's at the right club and under the right manager. Couldn't agree more.

He struggled for most of the game but came in to it more when we upped the pace and made some good subs. Unreal goal.

His first 45 minutes were really not convincing but superb second half when the game opened. He's still only 18 and it's already good to see that he's influential and can run for 90 minutes. You don't see players physically prepared as much as him at his age. Goal was superb although I was expecting areola to make save, think it was clear where he would hit it but put enough power behind it for the keeper to give up.

Really pleased for him and even though it doesn't always work out he was the only player in the attack that looked like a goal threat. Deserved MOTM.

He is a match winner! His goals seem to come at critical times for us. Amazing impact as an 18 year old.

Didn't think he was good in the first hour. Struggled to beat Johnson and his final ball was poor. Got much stronger as the game went on and started to really win that battle. Excellent goal
Agree. Great moment for him with that winning goal.
