So, what's the current situation? Can he play vs West Ham? We need him.

“No, I think it will be the same squad,” Ten Hag initially replied, when asked if he had any team news before our visit to the London Stadium. “Maybe one player [to add]: Garnacho. I have to see.

“Maybe he can be involved but we will have to see how the progress can go.”

Great to see he's back. Hopefully Varane will be in the squad come Wolves game. Need those two for last few league games + cup final.

His inclusion in the squad yesterday was utterly pointless.

What situation would have to have arisen for him to be brought on, if us losing a game and chasing a goal wasn't one of them?

He'd have offered more of a threat than Sancho, and giving him 15/20 minutes would have built up his match fitness ahead of Wolves where we could give him even more minutes and build for the remaining few games of the season.

Even with his rawness, I'd sooner see him on the left and Rashford down the centre than any sort of combination of Sancho/Martial/Wout.

Winning 2 or 3-0, dead rubber last 10 minutes.

Bringing him back in means we could play an attack with both Sancho and Weghorst on the bench - which already strengthens our attack.

watching Sancho and Antony stop start, cut back in recent games. Garnacho's directness will be a welcome contrast .Not sure how many mins he'll be good for, but good to have the option.

Interested to see how we use him especially with Rashford out. Ideally given its a home game you would have thought, he would come on against tiring legs. Hes defo been better when hes come on as a sub than started. 3 out of 4 being home games could help him (but equally depends on the setup of opposition as it might be less space for him)

Boy we've missed him. Touch of class to the kid

Much needed return especially before the fa cup final and our push for top4. Much much needed.

Direct, explosive and tricky
Feels like when we had kanchelskis
