Lots of references to other movies in this one. Fun trying to spot them
My gf thinks so. Im too horrified to watch, only in the background when im gaming. Very good, but scary too.I'm three episodes in and I'm not that impressed with season 5. Is it worth sticking with?
If you're not particularly concerned with logic, characterisation, narrative or all the basic things you'd expect then you'll love it.I'm three episodes in and I'm not that impressed with season 5. Is it worth sticking with?
Good too hear. I'll stick with it.First episode was interesting. The next few were all over the place. The last couple have settled down again. It's getting better, imo.
I liked it , had some really good eps in , I liked the last couple.Season 5 isn't bad but not as good as the early ones
Yes she surprised me tooI liked it , had some really good eps in , I liked the last couple.
Lady Gaga was much better than I thought she would be.
I only saw the first season, I found it pretty dull to be honest. Is this worth watching? Summer lull coming up and need something to binge on … welcome any comments
Yeah, it's inconsistent as each season has a different theme. Is this worth watching? Summer lull coming up and need something to binge on … welcome any comments
Crime Story I thought was very good, apart from the guy that played O.J. Simpson. Which kind of ruins it a bit. There are so many things called the same, or similar, are they all connected?

Hated season 3, really liked 4 actually. Have you seen the movie Freaks from 1932? It paid a few great tributes to that film, which is why I may have liked.I havent seen series 5 yet, after 4 - the freakshow one - I was a bit put off. But I will watch it and hope it gets back to its old self - the first three serieses were very good I thought.
I loved season 1, it gets way better. So I just watched the first episode of season 1 after hearing a lot of good things. I got to say, I absolutely hate the editing and pacing. I'm also not a fan of the characters and the dialogue so far.
Does it get better? I heard that every season there's a new story, so my hope is that the writers and directors also change.

I haven't started yet, I think I'm waiting to read like really good reviews to get goingAnyone watching this season, Roanoke?
I gave up on last season which was immensely shit, is this one better?
If you like a bit of horrorish stuff you should watch The Exorcist series, it's the shizzle.I haven't started yet, I think I'm waiting to read like really good reviews to get going
Yes I'd say this has been good, probably the show's 2nd best season (so far) and far better than last season by far. Besides the first 2 episodes, pacing has been good, and it isn't as convoluted with too many plotlines happening at once, which has been one of the shows faults in every season. Plus there's been some actual horror too.Anyone watching this season, Roanoke?
I gave up on last season which was immensely shit, is this one better?
Up to EP6, was not sure at first, but it has grown on me.Anyone watching this season, Roanoke?

Coven (season 4) is completely different from Asylum. Give it a go. Freakshow (season 4) reminds me a bit of Carnivale (early-mid 2000s HBO show). There's a dichotomy between the series which I think should be enough to intrigue you to keep watchingRecently finished the second series of this. Thought it was better than the first, but in both series I was having to force myself to watch the last few episodes just to find out what happens and tick off a series, lost interest a bit in them towards the end.
Not sure whether to continue into series 3 and beyond. Is it just more of the same?
They are all produced by FOX and all screened (in America) on the FX channel. Sara Paulson who's been in every AHS season played Marcia Clark on American Crime Story and Cuba Gooding jnr who of course played OJ also had a role in AHS Roanoke. They are all very well produced and written shows. The Americans comes highly recommended and its a regular series with a continuing story of a married couple of Russian spies living in the US during the Reagan/Cold war era. There are so many things called the same, or similar, are they all connected?
