BT.Who has the rights to Ligue 1 in the UK?
Thanks.
I do not think Blanc has a choice in that regard.Di Maria is playing like he did at Man Utd, he tries many difficult passes. He's a risk taker and him succeeding at PSG will depend on whether Laurent Blanc encourages his style of football or not.
Blanc likes to have lots of possession but unlike LVG, he always encourages his creative players to do their thing. Di Maria will be fine. More than anything else, if his head is right so will his performances.I do not think Blanc has a choice in that regard.
I don't get where people get the idea that di Maria was restricted here. He tried a lot of shit and failed 90% of the time and was benched because he was playing shit.Blanc likes to have lots of possession but unlike LVG, he always encourages his creative players to do their thing. Not restricted as in "don't take the initiative" but his style wasn't appreciated by LVG obviously. He kept changing the formation in order to (rightly) reduce ADM's wastefulness in midfield.I don't get where people get the idea that di Maria was restricted here. No there won't be. He did nothing to make me think he will come good in next season(s), and he was rightly sold. I’m delighted PSG paid so much money for him after such a shit season. The fee we paid was at least justified so I’m not that bothered."Finished.", "Glad hes gone".
Don't worry, he'll do some great things next week and there will be 7 pages of moaning about how we sold a worldy and what a crime it was.
No, we should of got more.No there won't be. He did nothing to make me think he will come good in next season(s), and he was rightly sold. I’m delighted PSG paid so much money for him after such a shit season. The fee we paid was at least justified so I’m not that bothered.
He was worth 60m for us, but I have no problem with that as I’ve been watching a lot of him in his last season for Madrid. But it never looked like he was capable of being a star player for us.No, we should of got more.
We paid 60m for him a year earlier, he didn't lose 15m value in one season.
It was 2013-2014 where he was world class, but it does look like he's regressed since then.I reckon he's finished at the absolute top level. He's always been a inconsistent player and only really had one world class season. He might occasionally hit the heights he reached in 12/13 but, to me, he's just another Nani. No idea why we (and PSG for that matter) paid that much for him.
Yeah I don't really care all that much about what we got back (which was enough), it was clear he was poorly managed and didn't want to play here under Van Gaal. More the fact that after a bad game the cafties are up and after the first good game he has the cafties will be down again. They're up and down more than a fiddlers wrist. No there won't be. More than anything, it's Trapp's poor keeping which cost them tonight. Bordeaux were impressive, really deserved the draw.So his miss cost them the win - since they'd have been up 3-1 and ended up drawing 2-2 ... useless git.
He actually should have been worth much more after the excellent season at United and being a year older means nothing. No, we should of got more.

Now that's shocking, never ever have the football fans been like this.Yeah I don't really care all that much about what we got back (which was enough), it was clear he was poorly managed and didn't want to play here under Van Gaal. Ouch.
I know, but we paid it. So to us that was his worth. He was not worth 60m in the first place.
I don't understand this logic, because we overpaid now we must allow PSG to get a fair price ? Makes no sense, we could of used a player in return. He actually should have been worth much more after the excellent season at United and being a year older means nothing.
£45m was more than enough. We should have never paid £60m for him in the first place and it's not PSG problem that we did.
No, if we want to sell him then pretending that what we paid was fair and demanding the same from another club is beyond stupid. It would be like Chelsea turning down £20m for Torres now because they paid £50m or Liverpool demanding £35m from West Ham for Carroll when they sold him. Would that have made sense?I know, but we paid it. So to us that was his worth.

Did those sales take place after one season ?No, if we want to sell him then pretending that what we paid was fair and demanding the same from another club is beyond stupid. He was exactly bad enough to lose 25% of his value. He was terrible last season aside from the first 5-6 games and was a year older, as a player who relies on pace 27-year old is not young. I still cannot believe how people think that we should have got our money back or even make a profit on a player who was very bad here. When has it ever happened?Did those sales take place after one season ?
He wasn't bad enough to have 15m slashed off his value imo, it's just confusing that the club was so willing to ensure a fair price in exchange for de gea yet let di maria go on a loss so easily. I'm not saying the price is shocking, but far from excellent. Some in this thread saying PSG were stupid to pay that money for him, that's a stretch. PSG are laughing are at the fact that they waited a year and got him fora reduced price.
Considering he wasn't replaced I think we should of at least pushed for a player in the deal, similar to how we conducted ourselves with de gea.
No he wasn't. Long after we signed depay LVG said he wanted di maria to stay when the rumours of him leaving started to gain momentum, he also said that ADM was apart of his plans for this season, when he left louis once again spoke about our lack of pace on the wings and then the pedro saga began. He was exactly bad enough to lose 25% of his value. He was terrible last season aside from the first 5-6 games and was a year older, as a player who relies on pace 27-year old is not young.
He was replaced with Depay.
