My concern is that our players are playing with the pressure of not repeating last seasons collapse whereas at City they're playing with freedom because everyone thinks its over for them...
I agree that is a concern. That's why it's so vital to win, because then last season will be forgotten and we will not be to concerned if this situation happen next season, because then the players will know they can handle the pressure.

We have a massive lead, it's not even close, but it will still be massive for the players, their selfbelief and their mindset for the challanges in the new season.

Must be lost in translation, only time I have heard him talk in English was after the Blackburn game.
It was supposedly said to an Ecuadorian radio station so it must be in Spanish. I'd like to read the transcripts. The crap the British press used to translate from Tevez was usually laughably off the mark. I`ll see if I can find it.

Can't find the audio but here's the transcript.

Nowhere does it say he or United is worried. On the contrary, that he's happy with the 12 point lead they have with the games to be played.

Doesn't mention that he was angry at all about not playing much, and that there was little he could do in ten minutes. Says Fergie explains to everyone why they didn't play and that those conversations are private. That's about it.

Did that even have any quotes? And I see mention of Suarez in there so is it even the correct transcript? Try this:

Hopefully by "upset" he means he's disappointed in general at missing out on such a big game rather than being unhappy with the managers decision not to play him, because he's been rubbish this season.

Not sure he needs to come out and say that the team is worried. Also, hopefully "worried" is not the way one would describe the teams mentality right now. Hopefully, it's just w slight concern given last seasons events, that's a good thing that will keep them switched on.

Says he was a little bothered by getting only a few minutes in such a big game but it was the manager's decision. Says he's a bit worried considering what happened last year so he'd like to get things over with as soon as possible.

This is such a trivial interview it's hardly even worth mentioning.

The reference to Suarez is that he cancelled out on a charity event for Valencia's foundation due to the wc qualifiers.

Anyone having a cow over this thinking they sound like pussies should really get a grip.

He had his good moments today. But then again there are so many brainfecks in his play this season it's mental. Like that last pass to Welbeck when he got a bollocking from him. It was such an ordinary pass but he just failed.
On the other hand there were some brighter moments for him today. LIke when we got the penalty.
Improving performances but still under par overall.

Fergie obviously loves him though.

Thought he was ok, tried running at a few players but still contributing very little in attack. I just don't understand why he won't try and cross the ball from anywhere else other than the byline, also think he lets himself get caught inside far too often during our build up play.

Beat the man on the line in the build up for the pen. Other than that, crap again for me.

He's basically given up even attempting to do anything productive going forward now. He just runs around in a lot of circles, and 'puts in a shift'.

Like a black Owen Hargreaves.

I actually thought he was far better than he has been recently today. He looked to take on his players and move the ball about. We didn't see as many pauses and stops expect for when he was actually surrounded and cut of from going forward. It was definitely further improvements on most of his performances this season today.

Only to stop and pass the ball back.

I have no idea how he still getting games. Is Fergie pitying on him or something?!
He's in better form than Young and more reliable than Nani, I think is probably the logic.

Think people are being harsh on him - was a vast improvement on his performances recently, even if not scaling the heighs of last season. His confidence is returning, which is a good sign.

I wouldn't agree with that at all, I think he's put in more consistently poor games than either of them this season. They've each had some shockers this season but Valencia is getting a lot of games and being poor to average in most of them.

No point in everyone repeating themselves after every game. This seasons been a poor one for him but let's see what he's like after he has a summer of rest, loses any niggles and clears his head. If he starts next season poorly then we should start to worry

To be brutally honest, he's one of the reasons why our attacking play isn't all that exciting - can't stand watching him at the moment.

The most frustrating about him is that it's not even an ability issue but more a mental. What he did for the pen showed he still has that pace and dribbling. He just lacks confidence ...

Poor performance from him. Hardly a threat at all. Perhaps he should give up the no. 7 shirt.

It's getting to the stage where it's doubtful if he'll ever return to the heights he reached last year. Nani looks to be on the way out but Antonio can consider himself extremely fortunate if he's still here next season.

Extremely worrying decline.

Mixed bag from Tony V, but i'll take that over the some of the shite he's put in throughout the season. I still feel he's a hindrance to our overall build up play though. Not on the same wavelength

Would not blink an eyelid if we sold him in the summer. He's just a boring player.
