The greatest team in history
Quite enjoying McMafia on the beeb at the moment even if the lead is a bit of a public schoolboy drip (but that's probably what they are going for).

I've just started watching the sitcom Trial & Error. Very good so far, with an excellent cast.

Manhunt Unabomber and Mindhunter.

2 of the better shows Netflix have produced in recent times. Having said that i came away with the impression that both could have been excellent rather just competent-good, tighter writing, more asked from the actors, a little more time in development.

What's the deal with Unabomber? Is it a dramatization or doc?

Is there anywhere to watch Search Party? New season came out recently and I want to rewatch it all before I start it!

Music can be oddly paired with some of the scenes at times but otherwise Fincher's Mindhunter is as hyped, quite enjoying the first season. Reading, however, the lengths the creators, writers & production team went to in putting the series together I have to say it does not bode particularly well going forward for future seasons. There is a sense from what I have read, even among those involved, there is a sentiment that the process employed for Series 1 is not tenable to continue - especially with Fincher on other projects. So will that inevitably mean a dropoff in quality? We'll see

I quite liked American Vandal. Only makes sense if you liked/watched those investigative series like Serial, Making a Murderer etc. though

It's a good show. They certainly go in for radical end of season episodes though. I wonder will they walk back the 'everyone now knows' season 2 ending at the start of season 3 (if there is a season 3)

Let's hope there is a 3rd season. They've got season 3 mapped out already, it seems. The cast is strong, and there's good chemistry between the core characters. Like the Continuum crossover....the Canadians re pretty good at this Sci Fi lark.

Caught the first episode of David Letterman's new talk show on Netflix called "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction". The guest was Obama and there was also an interview with Jon Lewis walking over Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma. Thought it was brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the one hour.

Dave is doing six one hour episodes, with one episode a month. The guest to follow are: George Clooney, Jay Z, Tina Fey, Howard Stern, and Malala. Although, I don't know how any of them can follow on the first episode.

I also watched it today - my God how I have missed Letterman on the TV.

Oh, and Obama, what a man.

A new sky original called Save Me staring Morgan from walking dead. I haven't seen it but worked on the promotional campaign, looked great. Going to watch it.

Ya. Very intriguing and very knowledgeable.

You compare it to current ineptness, uncouthness, language & general behavior - and you'd think he was from another planet. People do not realize the arduous task he had when he become president. The US and the world were in a very precarious situation and we needed someone like him to navigate through the period. The previous guy left a terrible economic and a very challenging geopolitical situation for him. I hope the next guy is as good because the current incumbent is going to leave the planet in a worse state than Bush did.

Holy shit! I completely forgot I watched that. I don't know why I forgot about it because it was absolute quality. I watched it all in one go, near enough. I feel like I knew all the voices too, must have been some pretty famous actors working on it. I'll have to IMDB that.

Is there a new season on the way?

Absolutely, he was also hampered by a republican congress.

Started watching "This Is Us" with the wife...

It's weepy as fecks, and tugs on your heart strings on a consistent basis... but the acting is so bloody brilliant across the board that it pulls it off and then some.

Really enjoying it.

It's an excellent show. I feel I have to be in a particular mood to watch it though as it's an emotional rollercoaster.
