Just started Mythic Quest, as I'm a big fan of the people involved. I'm 4 eps in. Does it get better? I like the idea, but it's a bit thin on the narrative and the laughs so far.

Episode 5 is a standalone episode that’s absolutely brilliant but overall I’d say it’s less than the sum of its parts. It’s a weird one, you’d think Rob McElheney as the egotistical CEO of a MMO game company would be a recipe for brilliance but it just rarely manages to elicit anything other than a meh chuckle from me, and most of the side characters are crap.

I really should get around to watching The Leftovers. It's been on my list for quite a while.

Mr Inbetween is brilliant, one of the best series I have watched.
My wife loved it, has to be best final episode of a show ever. Final scene had us both smiling because,
well, you just know what was going to happen to the blokes in the cab.

Finished S1 last night, and what you've said is how I feel about it so far. Episode 5 was really good, I liked the Zoom call episode too. But other than Ian and Brad, there's not really any characters that stand out in any way.

I might be at some point in the future but I'm not looking for another 40 minute episode 6/7 season show atm. Something a bit lighter.
The White Lotus? It’s a Sin?
No but someone else mentioned it before. What makes it so good?
It’s a great show but slow and very character driven like Mad Men so probably not for simple souls like yourself.

Pfft half my list is character driven shit.

Seen It's A Sin. I will update the list. Not heard of White Lotus, what makes that one good?

The White Lotus is one of my favourite recent mini series. Give it a go.

Rectify is seriously good but it is slow as hell at times so probably won’t appeal any more than Mad Men.

trying to think of others but you seem to have watched most of television. Eh… The Offer? That was decent. Actually lots of good stuff on Apple like Defending Jacob and For All Mankind

The White Lotus was one of my favourite shows last year. Season 2 is out soon.
