Bellamy's interview.. wtf was that all about?

ANOTHER BELLAMY CRACKER

Craig Bellamy insists he will not quit playing for Wales despite the 2-0 defeat to Finland.

Wales all but saw their hopes of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup go up in smoke after a disappointing showing at the Millennium Stadium.

Manchester City striker Bellamy conceded in the aftermath of the game Wales had no chance of reaching South Africa and his outburst showed his frustration at another failure in a qualifying campaign.

Despite his disappointment at seeing Wales again fail to deliver, Bellamy is adamant that he will not walk out on his country.

"There are many great Wales players who have failed to qualify for a major finals. But I am not in that category, I'm far from great, I am a decent player but there are many better players than me who have been in this position with Wales and I feel for them. I will certainly not be in that bracket," said Bellamy.

"Who would have said a year ago that I would be about to get the biggest move of my career to Manchester City. I just have to get on with it and keep trying for my country, I'm not going to pack it in.

"The disappointment is always there and we are not going to do anything in this campaign, so I have to dust myself down and get on with it in the next one."

That was actually quite humble from teh prick, but true too

Apart from the very unprofessional comment about Johansson, he's not said a word wrong there. Certainly prefer footballers being honest and frank in their assessment, to spouting the same regurgitated crap to the media over and over again.

You're laughing at the wrong part. Put the part in italics which you should be laughing at. Somehow the biggest move of his career is Manchester City and not Liverpool..

What a cock.

I felt bad for Wales when they did not qualify in Euro 2004 when Russia cheated (and of course were allowed in because they had a bigger population, ergo would bring bigger revenue).

But with the likes of Bellamy and Savage as their leading lights they deserve a bit of Wenger's lasagna.

Shock horror, Bellamy is a cock

The surprises never cease...

I thought it was funny though, and refreshingly honest. Not the same old shite spouted by most players

"we worked hard, unlucky, credit to the boys, try harder next time....."

I hate Bellamy BUT at least that interview was better than the normal anodyne shite you get:

After a loss: "All the boys in the dressing room are gutted but hopefully we can learn from this and get a result next game"
After a win: "All the boys are delighted with the 3 points, let's hope we can continue this form"
After scoring: "I'm delighted to have scored but the most important thing is the result"

He said:

"I've got nothing to say about that guy (Terry). Everyone in football knows what he is like."

From the beeb:

Craig Bellamy on the Terry/Bridge situation: "You guys make a lot more of it. I know what JT is like and nothing surprises me about him. Everyone knows what he's like. But that's off the pitch. On it he's an outstanding player and a great captain."

His exact words were (courtesy of Sky+):

Jeff: (Towards Tevez) "How much of today, were Chelsea galvanised by Wayne Bridge?"

Tevez: (To Bellamy) "You speak.."

Bellamy: (about Tevez) "He speaks better English than me. Em..."

Jeff: "Be honest, Craig, going into the game, did it galvanise you at all?"

Bellamy: "I think you guys make a lot more of it, you know, em, I know what JT's like, and nothing surprises me about him, so I'm not going to comment on that guy, em, I think everyone in football knows what the guy's like, so, em, that's off the field, but on it he's an outstanding player and captain for Chelsea, so it's always going to be difficult when you play him and his team, but, em, today was a big, big result for us....."

he is an utter cnut but that was pretty funny today. In terms of his footballing ability I think he would be a great left sided player for England? Shame the cnut is welsh

absolutely fecking priceless!!

I never thought I'd say this, but I wish more footballers were like Craig Bellamy...say what you see, see what you say

Bellamy probably gets pissed off that Terry seems to get away with his antics while his hang over him.

Quality interview!

We all know Bellend's a twat, but he's a saint compared to Terry.

I think Bellamy was spot on today. It's good to see somebody actually say what most people believe. That Terry is a good player with incredible determination to win, but off the pitch he's a piece of shit.

He thought Tevez would understand the word galvanised

Fecking quality journalism asking Tevez something with the word galvanised in
it.:lol:He can barely tie 2 sentences together.
