You're conflating a wage issue with a price issue. We can't ship players because they are on massive wages, not the cost of the transfer.

I've fully converted and really want this guy now. Don't care that he'll be a bit pricey, this is a Greenwood replacement and seems as good of a prospect as any to spend the cash on without going to the next level and paying out the nose for someone.

The next season there's only a few more additions to go but I'd be very impressed if United can complete 3 top more signings this summer.
