Bernardo Silva | Man City Player

I think hes player of the year if you take out Van Dijk

super player, technically excellent with a good football brain

Did they do a drug test on him post game?

What a fecking player. Shame we didn't go for him to solve our RW issues.
Been known to run 12k in a match. Imagine what he could do if he gave up the fags (smokes 10 a day reportedly).

Annoying that City have so many technically gifted players that are intelligent and hard working/fit as well

We overpay for the wrong players. Should have outbid City for this fellow instead. Think he's absolutely brilliant.

Best player for us again, one thing I love about him is his fight. Heart of a lion and doesn't shy away in big games. Amazing mentality to go with his technique. Without the last couple of weeks are a completely different story.

Sensational player. Annoying that City have already found their David Silva replacement while we are still trying t find our "next xyz's" who retired or left a decade ago.

Arguably City's player of the season with Sterling.

His workrate is just unreal. He reminds me of Pedro under Pep with higher technical ability.

Because Jose had no idea where to play him. He doesn't have the pace for playing as a winger and too light to play as AM in a Jose system. While Pep knows what's he getting and where is going to play him. Bloody amazing how Pep converts the likes of Silva,KDB,B.Silva to CMs.

Easily among the best players in the league. Technically brilliant, clever and has exceptional work rate.

Can't stop singing that Bernardo song and it's doing my fecking nut in

Our best player this season. Sterling's deserved his plaudits this year but Bernardo has been so consistent and has led by example in every game he's played. He's arguably our best player overall, so long as de Bruyne continues to struggle with injuries.

He wouldn't be as good for us as for City, but he would still be one of our best players. He has no lack of desire, he is running all game long paired with intelligence and technical ability. The quality would just shine in every team, and City were patient with building him up and now can enjoy him to the maximum. Brilliant player and City had a free run at him. He was brilliant at Monaco as well.

Incredible player. You just know if he was with us we'd find a way to turn him to shit though

I don't feel bad about missing out him on him at all tbh. We could sign Messi and he'd also turn to shit here so it makes no difference.

For those who say that Guardiola doesn’t improve individual players just compare him today to when he arrived at City. Definitely starting to perform at the NT.

He is bloody brilliant......hate to say it.

He was brilliant before Pep as well, but has taken it up another level. He is a monster, but i am not surprised.

I was one of the guys on here who was negative and poisonous when City signed him, because of the enormous potential

Was but he improved on many areas working with him.

I don't think that Pep had a particular influence, he would have done it with any other good coach. The stride that he made at Monaco were huge, he initially was inconsistent and not very present defensively but became extremely consistent and intelligent. It's not against Pep or Jardim but Bernardo is the main actor, he has a great attitude and works on his weaknesses which isn't always something that players do.

Love him. Arguably overtaken de Bruyne as our most talented player. de Bruyne at his best is slightly ahead but he needs to put his injury troubles behind him.

Not taking anything from Monaco or Jardim.

Best thing it happened for him was leaving Benfica B and spending 3 years with Jardim on Ligue 1. Actually I feel Ligue 1 is a great league to develop youth talent, reason why I am against 18,19,20 year old players from here to go directly to the top teams in England or Spain.

It was the right career decision for him.

He'd have ended up as another Juan Mata here.
