Sane is an absolute fraud on the right. Not impressive on other positions also.

Kimmich and Sabitzer have decided not to defend Gavi and Pedri....giving them too much space and time on the ball

Sane is the most frustrating player in the world, so much talent yet zero intelligence and application.

Pedri is so difficult to defend. You try to commit and surely he will dribble past you.

If you watch Liverpool and go through every goal they concede, Trent seems to play a huge part in every goal. Even thinking about recent goals in the league, he is shocking for most of them. Abysmal defender.

Only positive for Ajax is they scored. They've been utterly outplayed.

Pasveer looking impressive again. Think he might be our nr 1 in Qatar if he keeps this up.

Liverpool looks good.

Hope Jorge Sanchez to RB and Rensch to LB (blind out please). Blind is to slow and is constantly out of position.

Sabitzer needs to come off as well. Not offering much in attack and losing the ball to often.

Goretzka would have trouble keeping the ball against Barca as well but atleast he can be a bigger threat going forward.

Barca are the better team and they should have gotten a penalty.

Their pressing is great and we're not used to it anymore since Leipzig and Dortmund changed their style.

I hope for Goretzka for Sabitzer and Gnabry for Mané in the 2nd half.

Even die hard myopic Liverpool fans are now in agreement. He is dreadful. Should have got back into Matip's position when Matip went to cover his. Had he done that Kudus would have run into him. Instead Trent just got beaten easily and stood and watched the rest.

Don't see why teams don't just overload the right side of Liverpool and wait for lapses in concentration. It'll be a free run at goal every time.

First time I’m watching Bayern in a long time, they have regressed a lot. Is this due to Nagelsmann or players who shouldn’t be playing at this level? (Sabitzer looks out of place, couple others as well)

Xavi wants to play like a Guardiola side but his team doesn’t have the same ability off the ball. Guardiola’s pressing is much more systematic, here it looks like the players were just instructed to run up to the opposition. But this leaves a lot of big gaps in midfield and defense, and the ease at times with which Bayern is able to get out of the press makes this very clear. It is just that they seem to suck in the final third.

Barca is also much more threatening on the counter, which makes sense given the front three.

Interesting game all around.

I honestly don't understand how that pen wasn't given
