A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
Sweet feck . I watched bits and pieces of the City-Liverpool match and was completely oblivious to Barca's meltdown. I wish I'd avoided the result until I watched the highlights now. I'm a fair bit more worried about the Scousers going through than I was earlier. It all seems to be opening up too nicely for them now. Let's pray to feck that they draw Real next and Ronaldo butchers them.

He’s had exactly two major injuries in his entire career (and one was his shoulder ...) and he certainly hasn’t lost all that much pace. He was just mismanaged boy Ancelotti. What are people talking about?

That´s 471 days of 730 calendar days over the last two years and always muscle problems and injuries. He´s almost 30, too. He´s not the same player and I say that as a huge fan of him. Him and Hummels are still the best playing-making CB pairing in the world (maybe ever) and their experience obviously still counts for a lot, but Boateng has lost a lot of pace and that leaves Bayern more vulnerable at the back.

4/1 with the bookies now. 40/1 earlier in the season. They're favourites against Roma if the draw each other. Another couple of jammy refereeing decisions in the final and it's completely doable.
So they are in the semi-finals, and they have a 4 in 1 chance of winning. Bookies, eh?

Liverpool has history though, whether that was a long time ago that they reached a similar stage or not, it's something City doesn't have.
Besides I wasn't even talking about them losing this tie but them being talked as favorite a while ago. Based on league form which we know doesn't matter that much
I do not think that matters much since Alexander-Arnold was the only Liverpool player out there with a long connection to the club and he was 12 the last time Liverpool did anything of note in the CL.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. Just see Neymar with his little voodoo doll of Messi sticking his pins in.

I wonder how Coutinho feels about his previous club getting to the CL semis.

It’ll be awful, how on earth can you say that as a United supporter.
Oh it would hurt, trust me. Also, I have too many Liverpool supporting family members and friends. I'd never hear the end of it. It would be well deserved though looking at the teams left and that's just a simple fact. I don't see them making the final.

Not like he would have been able to enjoy Barca winning it if they did.

I mean, he gets a winners medal if we somehow win the thing

Haha, yes! If we don't win, I REALLY hope Roma do it!

The Champions League is becoming a bit of a misleading name. Third place Liverpool joining fourth placed Roma in the SF. Be funny if third place Madrid & seventh placed Sevilla joined them.

fecking hell! Barca got owned in style. It's deserved though. Roma were the better team by far over the two legs.

very well done riommers with tonight and the campaign, now keep going @Il Prete Rosso ... tired to see Serie A downplayed these years by such obnoxious commentary and social media :nono: unfortunately we have absolutely no legs to do a roma to madrid tomorrow but extremely happy for the gialorossi people, club and players this evening

Can't believe the Roma game.

Why didn't they try to score one from the start? Never seen that approach from Barca, no matter the 1st leg result.
What was that with playing all the long balls with midgets up front against 1.90 cm defenders?
Roma pressed them into submission

What a bitter Pep interview. He delivers.

Pep moaning about ref decisions in the post-match interview as the reason why they've been dumped out of Europe.

Also gets a mention of the no-penalty against us.

He says he was "polite" to the ref tonight but the ref is a "special guy". :houllier:

Really hope he gets the book thrown at him.

Well done Liverpool, even though I was born in Davyhulme, my Mum & Dad were born in Liverpool. Also I like Jurgen Klopp, and they just don't spend spend spend, apart from 75 million quid on an average defender !

Out of curiosity: was it a foul at City goal? Pep seems to blame the refereeing for this defeat.

Transfermarkt is deeply flawed when it comes to Bundesliga. There’s so much stuff in there which would never count as injury elsewhere. „Trainingsrückstand“ 20 days. There’s his shoulder injury and one muscle injury.

I don't think it's close to our comeback, they had the advantage of a 2nd tie. Still, unbelievable and I hope Roma win it.
