Perisic is an amazing player. Has always been one. A gem to have in your squad and incredibly clutch.

Its a Pattern of play in a way. The players know which area the ball will be launched into so they're already ready around those areas to get the second ball. That 1 second advantage over the opponents means they get the ball most of the time.
