I think that's what they will do, like Barca and Madrid did. Appeal and buy players. When does this take effect? Would they be able to appeal the ban and buy time to sign players?
I think they'll definitely appeal, but given it's near end of Feb I don't think Fifa would let the appeal drag out until the summer transfer window opens. When does this take effect? Would they be able to appeal the ban and buy time to sign players?
90 days to appeal, they could drag this out and not file the appeal until end of May. Have all the transfers go through on June 1st.I think they'll definitely appeal, but given it's near end of Feb I don't think Fifa would let the appeal drag out until the summer transfer window opens.
I thought rules were changed so teams couldn't do that anymore? They will appeal, buy a feckload of players in the summer and the appeal will later be rejected.
Same with Odoi? They're fecked. Hazard contract up next year.
Do they sell and not replace him for a season or hold on to him and lose him for free in 2020?
Does this mean they have 90 days to appeal? If this is to mean anything they need to expedite any appeals process so that the ruling is final before the summer window opens.

Also Higuain is only on loan, so if this ban stands they will not be able to sign him or a replacement?Same with Odoi?
Issues you have are you don’t have many goalscorers or creators besides Hazard. Tactics aren’t the only reason. Pedro and Willian will be the same under any other manager. They won’t create or score. From midfield, Barkley is the only one in his career who has shown he can get goals. Still need to wait and see about Higuain. At least some of the loan and youth players might get a chance.
Don't see this as much of a problem and could actually be beneficial in some ways. Club seen it coming... hence the Pulisic deal and loan back.
We have a massive squad, issues we have at the moment are tactical and if the club get rid of Sarri then what?
That's mad.Broken the rules over signing 29 players under the age of 18.
Don't think FIFA can do that surely. Only our F.A./PL could do that.Transfer bans are pointless. Hit them where it hurts and dock them points.
29 players? Bet they forgot they had half of them. That's mad.
No idea to be honest.
That's more what I was thinking. It is OK if the ban is delayed, but as you queried, I am not sure he would want to spend that sort of money in one window. Think it would mean them having to sell as well and they might run out of time in one window. They'll appeal and get the ban pushed back so they can buy in the Summer.
The only thing is Abramovich seems a lot less interested these days, will he be willing to spend the £250-£300m they'll need to overhaul the squad and stock up on players?
