Unbelievable, total shock right now

Sat watching it with my 8 year old who can't even comprehend what's happening

Can only hope he's OK

Holy feck this is so sad :( :( Thoughts and prayers with them. Hopefully it's not the worst but it doesn't look good.

Not seen anything like that ever before, shocking.

Please make it through

Anyone know if he is ok? The crowd had huge celebrations when they took him off, but I am not sure.

Such a tragedy this could be. Denmark should pull out if the worst has happened.
Listening on radio. Five Live have gone over to the cricket. Nothing at the moment

He just collapsed when going for the return of a throw-in.

Looks really bad...
Yes. No medic but feels worse to me than collapsing after a major sprint. Hope I'm desperately wrong.

Just waiting for news at the moment
Yeah they stopped showing from the game here in Sweden. Noone understandably wants to talk about it.

I know some danish friends that went to see the game. Just awful for them, us and most of all Eriksen.

This was so big for him and Denmark and it ends like this.

It was shocking the camera man zoomed in on him several times the moment he went down and it was just obvious he was in a very bad way.

I wish some of these external producers would learn when to cut away, wouldn't have been shown so much here in England.

Hope he was resuscitated okay

Horrible. Can't imagine what it feels like to be Danish currently.

National icon and happens in major tournament in Copenhagen.

Love to all Danes.
I cannot stop crying. Nothing else than him surviving matters right now

Sickening. I had just turned on the game. Reminds me so much of Muamba.

Really worrying the on-pitch CPR and then the sheets being held up.

Hopefully the crowd cheers were because there was some sort of response from Eriksen.

Holy smokes!!! Just checked for the scoreline at work and I'm seeing this. God please let him pull through. I'm not aware he's ever had a medical problem.

That was absolutely horrific. I really hope ive misinterpreted what just happened. Ressusitation efforts seemed to go on forever.

I was hoping for a miracle when I heard the applause but, man, that did not look good. Thank god they suspended the game, should've done it sooner.

This is so horrible. I feel for him and the people around him who have to helplessly watch this. Please make it. Just make it.

There seemed to be some applause before he was taken off the pitch. Really hoping that's a good sign.

That was distressing. The length of time they were attempting to restart his heart was very worrying :(:(

That's the only thing to cling onto currently but really not sure how much the crowd would see with all the sheets up and I wouldn't want to be looking anyway.

Expecting bad news from the hospital within next hour, desperately hope I'm wrong as Muamba did survive in the end when that looked bleak but a handful of players haven't when it's happened to them.

Can remember a Hungary player collapsing in Benfica match years back.

I feel for everyone there. This was supposed to be a wonderful day after so much shit with the global pandemic.

According to Kicker there has been a thumbs up from one of the doctors.
