I'm not blaming Joe Gomez specifically for this but our back line looks more secure when Matip is there.

Take nothing away from Salzburg though. Great team going forward.

Inter are being too passive, playing so deep and inviting wave after wave of pressure against them. To do that against the threats that Barcelona has in their side is very risky. Same mistake Jose made with us all the time.

Where do we reckon this Salzburg team would finish in the Prem? Any chance of a top 4 fight?

Given the state of the current contenders outside the top two, don't think that's too far fetched.

A bloody good one at that too. I know it is only the MLS but he was doing wonders with the Red Bull’s last season and got the record points total for the league with the team with the lowest budget in the league.
His belief and methods are very much in line with Red Bull and credit it to the club for identifying him and getting him comfortable in the league.

Don’t ask Glaston, he thinks Bayern would squeak top four

On a serious note, Salzburg in their current state would probably be in and around the top four, certainly higher than us at present.

Liverpool have been leaky at the back this season but they still getting wins because of their attack, I still believe united messed up in the window by being too focused in buying defensive players over attacking players.

They have a top 10 worthy offense in Haaland, Minamino and Hwang-Hee Chan. Not sure about the rest of their squad.

Problem is Dembele's fitness is a concern and you can't really bench Suarez or Griezmann for a 16 year old
They've got to do it. Griezmann/Suarez fight it out for the striker spot and Dembele/Perez/Fati for the winger. Ofcourse it takes a ballsy manager to do it.

He's got a lot to learn if he wants to play alongside VVD, thought he was bit ropey against MK tbh. Matip far better right now.

And Messi and Suarez win it for Barca.

Poor match from Suarez, two brilliant finishes, game over.
