I can't believe Zidane is actually benching Bale, Kroos and Modric, blows my mind.

He said he wants Kroos and Modric at 100% of their capacity but expect them to enter during the game.

In fact, the last 20 minutes of the 1st leg makes him think it's the best setup to disturb PSG

Aren't they all injured/recovering from injury?
They can play. Spanish press say they are at "70%"

Former is in average form and the latter two only returned to training two days ago so it's not unjustifiable. Still I'd have expected Kroos and Modric to play too, risky stuff.

Against PSG's midfield, I think Madrid are in trouble here. Neymar is a loss but PSG don't need him to win this game.

I'm not saying it's a bad call, I just never expected Zidane to trust his bench to start a game like this if Modric and Kroos are barely fit to play.

PSG can win this, however almost impossible for me to not see Madrid not scoring. 2-1 to PSG.

I've still got Madrid at 7/2. Cant turn that price down.

The strategy is clear

1) Defensive Strategy: Compact team so a conservative 4-4-2 with Cristiano Ronaldo free of high defensive tasks. No risks
2) Offensive Strategy: Lethal counter-attacks to make Cristiano score

Feck, forgot Neymar is injured. Think this will be an energetic tie, but he would've made it livelier.

Real look weak on the midfield, but will gave four great subs; Bale, Modric, Kroos and Isco. With this tactics, ZZ can sub players to intensify the match and even improve the skills the last 20-30 minutes. That is what won the first match.

That Madrid team looks weak. They are there for the taking.

Finally Mbappe starting as an inside forward on the right.

Imagine if he scored a hattrick and PSg went through

Motta back as well.

Come on you plastic bastards! I told everyone ahead of this tie that I'd be glad to see whichever team crash and burn, but it turns out I was wrong - I absolutely want Real to go no further.

If Verratti and Rabiot play to the level they can, and Mbappe too, then I see PSG winning this comfortably. I'm going with a 3-1 PSG win. The concern would be Berchiche at LB. Not good enough for PSG when you look at the other players in that side.

This fixture reminds me a bit of the '03 games we played against Madrid. 3-1 and 4-3 (Ronaldo hat trick). Similar in terms of star names too, except three of Madrid's are on the bench.

Zidane with balls.

Whether they are gutsy or foolish remains to be seen. Should be a classic.

Good to see Motta back. Brilliant player who was a huge miss last leg.

Donatello does machines, Ronaldo's a machine, therefore M'bappé will negate Ronaldo
