Let’s all send hateful letters to these Elliot. Feels like Glazer takeover again with these greedy cnuts
Let's get ChatGPT to write these hateful letters. This is 2023, why waste energy on hate when AI can do the hate for you!

Can't wait until this is all done and dusted. Regardless of who buys us, I just can't stomach going into the summer with the Glazer's still at the helm. We might as well write off next season if they are.

Anyone else feel that whilst the Glazers will likely take the highest bid, they wouldn't be keen on Qatar as their ownership would likely make the Glazers look even worse.

Imagine Sheikh Jassim takes over and redevelops the stadium, provides plenty of fnancial backing in the transfer market and we go on to be incredibly successful. Whilst the performance of the club on the pitch has never been their primary concern, it probably wouldn't reflect well on the looking from the outside in.

I think they care only about money.

They don't give a shit. They'll take the money and never return to British soil again. They have zero qualms with what anyone on that island may think if them. In their eyes, and many American's, they will have pulled off one of the best deals in sporting history.

Given a consortium of Stevie G and the Oasis brothers would probably do a better job, they're not going to come out of this looking great whatever happens.

They don't care. They're going to be £4-5billion richer while putting nothing into their initial investment.

If they had a modicum of dignity they'd have sold years ago.

These are people who once asked what happens to match ball after Rooney scored a hattrick because they wanted to auction it off.

Can say a lot about the Glazer's and money, but they've put up plenty of funds in the transfer market. It's just how that money was spent that was the real problem.

I don't think they care who they sell to as long as they get what they want from the deal. They'll walk away quite happy.

Absolutely no way Raine do all this work (its not a lot of work but they are investment bankers so, you know!) and then have the Glazers walk away without them getting paid! From all that I have read, their payment is contingent on a sale or partial finance going through.
If it is true it would only mean they have to find financing for loans. Which if the Glazers do stay will likely happen to fiancé a revamp of Old Trafford. So Raine get paid that way.

Exactly, they bought the club for £150m, saddled the rest as debt, have taken out £1bn in dividends and then sold it for a World record fee. They will be heroes in the business world for pulling it off and wont care about how the future goes.

They've put none of their own money in. They have given the club the grace of making *some* of the money the club generates available for transfers. They also put it in the hands of incompetent yes men who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery as far as transfer negotiations go. So the point about the Qatari's transfer business making the Glazers look even worse stands.

In the world of business it will be observed how an asset performs under their tutelage versus subsequent ownership, so I think it has to be considered.

Should be noted the Glazers are planning on implementing a wage cap at the club which to an extent could be crippling for our renewals. They're trying to get the most value they can get from this club and them staying would be absolutely terrible.

The Glazers are 100 percent selling up, everything else is just noise.

It does not make business sense for them to remain given the fact they cannot take out further dividends while the club is in so much need of infrastructure investment.

Add into the mix Qatar and Ratcliffe turning up at Old Trafford recently and the Raine Group actively involved as the middle men who will require a hefty fee
the Glazers credibility would absolutely take a nosedive in business circles if they were to pull the plug on a sale this far down the road.

They are going, but it is very much a protracted sale.

I’m announcing I’m preparing a bid.

£1k plus £6bn from fans. My bid is the most lucrative on the table. I’d just need 60m fans to put in £100 each.
You could have a draw each match where contributors win a starting spot. The best performer at the end of the season would win the Wout Weghorst trophy.

Glazers would not risk permanent damage to their credibility by staying. It's just what's added to stories to irritate fans and generate clicks.

Multibillion-pound corporate deals don't have surprise twists like episodes of EastEnders or WWE

A lot of people have spent a lot of money preparing bids. The Glazer's would be complete corporate pariahs if the outcomes was "LOL changed our minds". Nobody would give them the time of day again. There is zero chance they'd risk that

Yeah they own two major sports franchises. Their credibility doesn't come by fans being upset at not signing a left back. Like them or not in the field they work in they're highly respected and credible businessesmen.

Corporate world and their peers don't view them through same lens fans do

Joel and Avram staying was always on the cards. Nobody changed minds. Many fans simply ignored that option for some reason.

At first, sure. But fans aren't relevant. People they will consider their peer have been led to believe a full sale is on cards and millions have likely being spent collectively preparing, researching and on consultancy fees by bidders.

At best that would look fecking horrendous and do huge damage to their credibility and reputation among people to whom their credibility matters. A u-turn or staying on really isn't on the cards any more

Fairly certain Paul Mitchell falls into the same camp of football personalities who a bunch of people get excited about just because they've heard of them rather than know anything about them, ie. Rangnick.

its noted the club dont have much money. The stupid spending from the Woodward era has caught up whilst the sponsors nowadays are restless
