Wow, how lucky are Liverpool
Sign of a good team unfortunately.luckiest team in the world
Nothing to do with luckWow, how lucky are Liverpool
Poor for the tenth time this season but still win. It has to change sometime though. Can't keep on getting away with it.Yay go vermi...Liverpool. Made hard work of that.
If Keita bagged they must be shite indeed.@Classical Mechanic is right, this era of football is shit if Liverpool is still tied
Salah loses the ball with a lack of strength, it goes straight to a Liverpool player and they score?Nothing to do with luck
We are the luckiest feckers in the world...for having Klopp.Wow, how lucky are Liverpool
Salah always gets the bounce of the ball, even when he dribbles with it. It’s the same as Messi, they just anticipate where the ball will go.Salah loses the ball with a lack of strength, it goes straight to a Liverpool player and they score?
That moment that led to the ball had no anticipation to it, Salah had been well defended/marshalled all game, and then the ball bobbled off him and to a Liverpool player. I think that’s good fortune and not a patch on Messi playing at full tilt.Salah always gets the bounce of the ball, even when he dribbles with it. If you go back through most of our games you'll see that we create more chances in most games. Based on that the opposition is also lucky that we're not finishing better in those games.Poor for the tenth time this season but still win. It has to change sometime though. Maybe after years of misery for you guys, the lady luck is shining for you lot. What I saw in the game: VvD, Mane and TAA having a nice summer holiday with a small kickaround today.
Oh and we're in the final of the World Cup. And Klopp made sure we did it in a way that would maximise the seething of Utd fans on RedCafe.
ThisYou do make your own luck, but feck me. This ALWAYS happens. Play average or poorly and still nick a late winner. Not even United were like this when we had a reputation.
Suarez was another one who kept hanging on to the ball somehow despite all manner of weird deflections....Salah always gets the bounce of the ball, even when he dribbles with it. It’s the same as Messi, they just anticipate where the ball will go.
Ever since Karius’ calamity in the CL final they’ve had everything go their way. It’s bizarre.
It's beyond parody. Every week we see Liverpool conceding chance after chance with the opposition not taking advantage, only to see Liverpool jammy their way to a last minute winner.
Would be interesting if someone can pull up any stats regarding how many goals Liverpool have scored after the 80th minute in the last couple of seasons to win by a single goal.
Just give them the fecking world cup.
That's not how football works. There were many better and dominant teams than this Liverpool side that didn't come close to this winning rate. Current City side is still distinctly better at chanced created/conceded ratio. But somehow their opposition gets insanely efficient at times, while against Liverpool teams simply refuse to score, and then concede most ridiculous goals when necessary. If you go back through most of our games you'll see that we create more chances in most games. I won't deny there were games we were bang average for the majority of the game only to win it but in most of our comebacks we did dominate the game. Liverpool this season are grinding out results and in many games aren't even the better side. City also scored many late goals in 2017-18 season but they were damn good, I just cannot say for this Pool side. This
"Can Manchester United score? They always score!"
According to the Dippers we were the flukiest team in the world or the biggest cheaters.
But this luck thing doesn't hold much weight if we're missing chances as well. Using the same logic the opposition is fortunate that we miss chances like in the Leicester/Spurs games. That's not how football works. It is and they are, but that gets said when it’s the odd game where you play poor and win. Surely shouldn’t be the majority of them!Sign of a good team unfortunately.
