More excited about him not joining City than joining us, but get the feck in

75% said yes to Ronaldo joining City on their hideous Bluemoon site (what a mess of a forum!), cannot wait till we hear they didn't want him anyway :wenger:

This is moving way too fast for me to keep up. Want the feck is going on? Who’s moving on if he’s coming back to United? We surely can’t afford his wages and the current crop. Is Martial and Cavani going or something?

I don't thik this is a good move to make for United, but since I heard City wanted him I have wanted us to sign Ronaldo. I am not even sure how much sense that makes.
I am sure it makes more sense to have a 35+ goals a season striker rather than Martial or Cavani leading our attack.

James routinely plays LWF.
Same with Sancho - LWF or RWF
Lingard came on and played LWF at the weekend
Pogba has been playing LWF since March

Should I keep going?

It's not mad to think Ronnie would be successful but the money is much better spent on other areas of the squad.
Great, so we are in agreement as Ronaldo doesn't play as a LWF.

We are going to play 5-0-5 this season. Midfield is so old school.

How old was Zlatan when he joined us, was it the same age? Puts things in perspective I guess.

I always had this weird feeling he would come. Biggest obstacle were our owners.
I did too, as much as it tugged on my heart strings. I can understand from a financial perspective that getting him before may not have been viable, but for £25m you cant say no, no matter the age. The guy is fitter than pretty much anyone in their 20s

This is huge news, but I'm a tad worried about the outlay on him and how this will affect our spending on midfield and CF in the future. City will probably end up with Haaland which is a better deal.
