Didn't Torreira have a much better season than Bentancur?
You can't really couple Bentancur with Vecino in the mid, neither can sprint or box-to-box and they are too poor on the wings anyway

Why do they have 3 players to pass it between on the wing but 1 player in the box to cross it to?

Man Suarez is looking old these days. Looks to be playing a bit slower too. Not too surprising I guess since he is 31 now.
31 isn't old. Some of the best players can play into their mid-late 30s.

Zidane was 35 when he put in one of the finest World Cup performances vs Brazil in 2006. Pirlo was also 35 in 2014 and England couldn't get near him, then of course there's Roger Milla bossing the 1990 world cup at 38

Egyptian fans making the most noise. They last made the world cup when Liverpool won the league!

Suarez style of play just doesnt age well. He still is a good player but he hasnt been able to destroy teams by himself like he did when he played for Liverpool.

Uruguay look knackered already. Their two midfielders, who are supposed to be class, are actually shite too.

Christ can Salah stop being a baby and get on the pitch? This match is dire in attacking quality.

Uruguay have been so so poor. Egypt get Salah on and they can win it.

Godin looks like the only top quality player in the Egypt vs Uruguay game. Embarrassing showing from some of the so-called big names.

Bentancur needs to infiltrate a lot more instead of walking around in front of his defense.

Aye was just looking at that and apparently the average monthly wage in Moscow equates to about £700 so yeah, not much of a surprise.

That's really sad. Thankfully the Egyptian fans are still pumping out some great noise.

Uruguay really need to try to get some corners, fouls, anything. They are really lacking in creativity.

Uruguay surprisingly meh.

Both teams kinda struggling to find any real rhythm, would give Egypt a decent chance if they can get Salah on at all though.

I hope you mean doing a Rooney. Unless you're watching something completely different to the rest of us
Wouldn't surprise me tbf, he needed something new to overshadow biting from the lastt WC.

They should go 4-3-3 imho, adding Torreira in the mid as a box.to.box and Laxalt on the left wing, with Cavani on the right. Out De Arrascaeta and Nandez.
