Ochoa must be Mexico’s version of Mariah Carey. They unfreeze him every 4 years for the World Cup.
Yeah I don't really get the argument against it - he's all over his shirt and he sticks his leg across too for good measureClear penalty for Poland. Not sure how it can even be doubted. Shirt tug and impeding with the leg.
VAR has been more or less spot on so far. Premier League refs should hold their heads in shame
Nothing about it was clear. A defender is allowed to challenge for the ball.Clear penalty for Poland. Not sure how it can even be doubted. Shirt tug and impeding with the leg.

knee, tackle, punching. I see that you like the man a bit rough. The Gk, of course. If anyone tries to score he'll just knee them. I could get on board with that.
both of them are dull as dishwaterRight decision to give the penalty.
Whoever is on co-comms on BBC is horrible.Again. Jeez
Polish Im sureIs Lewandowski a bottler?
The absolutely blatant shove by Lewa. They were both at it, and obviously at it too.Yeah I don't really get the argument against it - he's all over his shirt and he sticks his leg across too for good measure
This team could use Klich. He's fresh from playing 20-30 minutes off the bench for Leeds (maybe ideal for the World Cup as you're in game shape but not tired and you can always be subbed after an hour or come on for 30 minutes) and they just have so little fluency in attack.Because our coach generally does not pick players based on merit but mostly on who is nice and who isn’t. He did not manage Milik in the youth sides so he won’t pick him. He didn’t even call up Klich or Linetty because he didn’t get along with them.
Agree haha. He seems shite most of the time but then he is outstanding in the world cup.Ochoa must be Mexico’s version of Mariah Carey. They unfreeze him every 4 years for the World Cup.
It's incredible, really. His club career looks absolutely bang average but he's somehow Dino Zoff with a headband every time the World Cup rolls around.Ochoa must be Mexico’s version of Mariah Carey. They unfreeze him every 4 years for the World Cup.
How dare you even contemplate muting landon donovanReally wish there was an option to mute commentary and just keep crowd noise
Can Skov Olsen play up top? He's quite tall and has a good record for a winger and that way they can get Lindstrom or Jensen in, both of whom seem more useful than a mediocre #9.Yeah, that list of strikers is terrible. Any one of the guys from Sand, JDT, Bendtner would have made this team better. To not have produced a world class striker for 40 years is quite something though, when you've had excellent creative players pretty much all of the time since the 80s.
Unless I'm missing something, he's got a hold of Lewa's shirt first, and then Lewa tries to push him off before he brings him down with his leg...The absolutely blatant shove by Lewa. They were both at it, and obviously at it too.
Challenge for the ball and shirt tugging are not the same thing. It is a contact sport that you can touch but you cant hold a shirt. Im glad a referee gives a penalty for it. Less shirt tugging or more shirt tugging punished would be good for footballNothing about it was clear. A defender is allowed to challenge for the ball.
Lewandowski pushes through him first of all from behind, they're both pulling at each other and they both fall fighting for it.
Football is a contact sport and not everything is a foul.
Why are you ignoring that Lewandowski is the first one to push and hold in the first place?Challenge for the ball and shirt tugging are not the same thing. Lewa pushed the Mexican player off his feet with both hands.Unless I'm missing something, he's got a hold of Lewa's shirt first, and then Lewa tries to push him off before he brings him down with his leg...
Bit of help @GifLord
A shirt pull is not 'challenging for the ball'. Lewandowski as clearly impeded significantly more than what he did. He barely did anything himself.Nothing about it was clear. A defender is allowed to challenge for the ball.

Something like this:I was thinking about this. A Scandinavian football team would be pretty excellent.
Is he?Why are you ignoring that Lewandowski is the first one to push and hold in the first place?
If anything the foul should be the other way around. Defenders are allowed to challenge for the box too.
Even Lewa didn't call for a pen after the chance was gone. Could be a pen but there is a debate to be had, not as stonewall as people are making out.Why are you ignoring that Lewandowski is the first one to push and hold in the first place?

Mateusz Kasz.Is there a more Polish man on this planet than Matthew Cash?
How can you not see it? They're both running towards the ball fighting with arms, then Lewandowski reaches across with his left arm and pushes him in the chest that makes him lose balance and fall over.Is he?

Thats the only link I have to it sorry - doesn't embed, but from that angle it's clearly the Mexico player who starts with the shirt pulling.
