We lost to a much, much better side. No shame in that.

I will maintain, that if we can't beat Australia, we don't belong in the knock-outs anyway.

What a joke our manager is. 1-1 and he decides to take off Lindstrøm for Nørgaard. Literally takes off all our good offensive players and just decides to park the bus. Karma that France scored.

What a fecking joke…
Pretty sure Denmark will qualify though, you guys are a good team that can play proper football. But yeah, why park the bus when it was going fine.

At least we will have the opportunity to see the likes of Saliba, Camavinga, Guendouzi or Kolo Muani.

Deschamps always wins the first 2 WC games, as a player or a coach.

France is the 1st world champion to qualify for the final stage since 2006. Crazy.

Nah they're better with Tchouameni in there and Camavinga to come in as well than Pogba/Kante. Those 2 being out is a bit of a blessing IMO.
Benz and Pogba out can be seen as a blessing for not entirely sporting reasons. Don't agree about Kante.

That's the difference between England and France. They didn't necessarily play that well but the difference was a world class player stepping up when his country needed him to.

Fecking hell. Your manager has done amazing things with this team and very unlucky not to have got a result tonight. Literally overachieved with this Denmark team.

France picking it up in the main competition, looking really good all round the field.

So currently we have Ecuador vs Senegal, Iran vs USA, and Denmark vs. Aussies as 3 very tasty winnter-take-all last group games

Strange cameo to say the least. It's like he doesn't even wanna try to earn more playing minutes. Like this WC has ruined his vacation plans or something
That description is perfect, I would be tempted to send him to his holidays after that.

And also Deschamps playing all his best tools when needed. Leaving Foden out to have Mount finish the game is a crime in football

France played much better this game than what England showed yesterday against USA.

Yesterday England was getting outrun by USA the whole match

If Mbappe wasn't so wasteful they could have be leading since the 1st half.

Exactly. That's what I wrote. Denmark was dominant. Coward move.

Unlike yesterday today's games have been excellent, even Tunisia v Australia earlier wasn't that bad. Hoping for more of the same in Argentina v Mexico.

Crazy that he's Just got Fontaine ahead of him
Yeah, especially when you take into account the fact that we had players like Henry, Cantona, Papin, Trezeguet, Ribery, Benzema, Ginola, Anelka etc. But something went wrong at one point with almost every one of them.

Maybe because they have a world class player. Can’t say the same thing for us.

The way it should be. Always annoying when two teams win and then face each other in the final game as a dead game

If we play like today we have a great chance.
It's been a funny World Cup but Denmark should demolish Australia if they play like that. They literally had one chance earlier, scored from it and offered little else. Against France they were punished heavily for being more of the same.
