Sounds like standard RashfordThe goal overshadowed his awful performance in both games.

Craig Noone isn't in the squad.Oh have a day off, he played well against Croatia and noone did against Scotland.
Literally all of the wide options are top players and good enough to play, people are just moaning that Southgate's bias isn't the same as their own'Awful' is way too strong, you can surely see that?
Anyway, we have plenty of good options up front and he is one of them. Not sure I would play him but it is hardly ridiculous to do so.
He was really poor in both, probably the worst player in the Scotland game.Oh have a day off, he played well against Croatia and noone did against Scotland. His form this season wasn't that bad either, I saw him in a couple of games towards the end and he was a constant threat.
That's why he doesn't startSounds like standard Rashford
Yes he is. Pace and movement is good. Like him.Saka is a decent option.
He played better than Kane in both matches, just to pick one easy example. He was really poor in both, probably the worst player in the Scotland game.
I like Sterling as a player. I think he is the easy scapegoat a lot of the time, but I genuinely think he's been terrible both gamesOh have a day off, he played well against Croatia and noone did against Scotland. Your whole team was terrible against Scotland, but yeah I also thought he was very poor against Croatia. Kept saying to the company I was in that he should be subbed for Grealish and then of course he scored a goalI like Sterling as a player. Interesting.Your whole team was terrible against Scotland, but yeah I also thought he was very poor against Croatia. Kept saying to the company I was in that he should be subbed for Grealish and then of course he scored a goal
If Portugal not careful they may get eliminated.England to play portugal, get destroyed by Bruno who then becomes public enemy #1 in england next season. He then goes on to have a Beckham/CR7 like season. It is known.
They need to lose by 3 goals to be worse than Ukraine as the 2nd worst 3rd place side - without even looking at potential results from groups D or E (Croatia or Scotland need a winner for one of them to stay in above Portugal for example, and group E any of them can finish below). I'd say Portugal are barring a shock, through already. If Portugal not careful they may get eliminated.
Problem for Portugal is they play france in all likelihood france are better than Germany in attack and also better than Germany in defense. They need to lose by 3 goals to be worse than Ukraine as the 2nd worst 3rd place side - without even looking at potential results from groups D or E (Croatia or Scotland need a winner for one of them to stay in above Portugal for example, and group E any of them can finish below). Portugal are out if they lose and Hungary win. They need to lose by 3 goals to be worse than Ukraine as the 2nd worst 3rd place side - without even looking at potential results from groups D or E (Croatia or Scotland need a winner for one of them to stay in above Portugal for example, and group E any of them can finish below). Priority for Southgate is to get out of the group above anything else. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he played an ultra-defensive team to achieve that.Surely Southgate needs to use this opportunity to play maybe his most attacking team – the players he might need to play if we need to get a goal against tougher opponents? Would be good to see what we are capable of!
But we are already through???Priority for Southgate is to get out of the group above anything else. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he played an ultra-defensive team to achieve that.
Funny, I don't remember anyone saying this after the first game.Sterling was awful. In both England games.
I'm pretty sure i called his performance average and thats only because he scored which he did his best to fluff that chance aswell, a decent goalkeeper probably would have saved it.Funny, I don't remember anyone saying this after the first game.
Maybe it's because he scored the winning goal.
England already qualified for the next round.Priority for Southgate is to get out of the group above anything else. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if he played an ultra-defensive team to achieve that.
For Southgates sake it better work. Maybe it will work out well but is sure isn't based on qualify of the two players and performances. There's actual talk of Saka starting in place of Foden and not Sancho Can't make this up.
At least he's been better than the awful Kane and FodenWhat does Sterling need to do to get dropped? He was terrible in 2018 and continued to play.
He hates football.Southgate hates Sancho doesn't he? He hates him.
He has too much competition, hes unlikely to be in the top 2. Bigger chance to play instead of Kane.Miserable WC for Sancho and Rashford. No probem guys. Come home to United and light up OT.
Rashford is an odd one. I thought he was a key player for England or something. Didn't know he was struggling for the NT and unable to get ahead of bloody Saka
