Worrying that most of those transfer are bad
We're not top 3 anymore!
Oh boy this really looks awful when presented like this. 5 of our own transfers and if you were to be honest - all, but the one we did this year (so too early to tell) seem to be terrible pieces of business. Only VVD seems to have been worth the money.
We're not top 3 anymore!
Lukaku
We're not top 3 anymore!
Amazing success rate in that list.
We're not top 3 anymore!
I think after spending this amount, they'll give him at least a year to settle in, surely! He's shite. They'll loan him to Inter in the Summer
He surely is the most expensive player ever with cumulative transfer fees, at this point? I know way back then it was di Maria, iirc.Lukaku![]()
A lot of the big transfer moves in PL aren’t successful if you look through the list.Amazing success rate in that list.
Someone did a thorough run through of all of the most expensive transfers and the vast majority of them were flopsWorrying that most of those transfer are bad
Antony could still come good but VvD is the only real success and he's gone off the boil now.
Fair point.Now now, let’s play fair…
If United’s signing are forever quoted in euros so they can be slagged off on the Cafe then the same should apply for other teams.
Enzo cost 121 million euros!
Probably send him on loan to the Championship for a season to get him up to speed.I think after spending this amount, they'll give him at least a year to settle in, surely!![]()
He plays for a London club, will barely be a peep.I hope he gets more scrutiny than Pogba
5 players in the top 10 though?
We're not top 3 anymore!
Morata could challenge but yeah lukaku is right at the topHe surely is the most expensive player ever with cumulative transfer fees, at this point? I know way back then it was di Maria, iirc.
Crazy that only one of those players could be labelled as a resounding success... (Thus far)
We're not top 3 anymore!
That was a long time ago. Currently it is Lukaku but it was Neymar when he moved to PSG.He surely is the most expensive player ever with cumulative transfer fees, at this point? I know way back then it was di Maria, iirc.
Forgot about morata but yeah, amazing how lukaku is at the top!Morata could challenge but yeah lukaku is right at the top
Aargh yes, Neymar as well! That was a long time ago. Currently it is Lukaku but it was Neymar when he moved to PSG.
Only reason Pogba got that negative scrutiny was because he was/is a massive celebrity off the pitch. All the old boomers in the media hate when a footballer has personality.I hope he gets more scrutiny than Pogba
Shows how even the professionals are partial to just lazily looking at the top line.Lukaku being in there twice says a lot about how stupid these fees are![]()
Morata is a fair bit away and not got much scope for big fees at his age. If Lukaku's record is to be broken I think it'll probably be by Mbappe. Haaland is a frequent mover but if the reported release clause thing is true, that puts his overall potential fee down a bit.Morata could challenge but yeah lukaku is right at the top
Yes he is. Ahead of Neymar and CR7…He surely is the most expensive player ever with cumulative transfer fees, at this point? I know way back then it was di Maria, iirc.
To be fair I think that says more about our club over the last 10 years than the players themselves.5 players in the top 10 though?
But seriously, that's what, 1 outright success, jury's out on 5 and then 4 that failed to live up to expectations or outright flopped hard?
United occupying half of the top 10, and none of them have been worthwhile so far (fingers crossed on Antony and Sancho), laughable stuff.
We're not top 3 anymore!
Then you need to switch it to pounds for no reason and slightly inflate the fee whilst complaining about it.Now now, let’s play fair…
