I don’t know what situation people on here are waiting for. There isn’t ever going to be this perfect future where suddenly it’ll start raining class managers.
Who are these managers we should wait for?
So we waste a season and chunk of money to try to implement his system which we already know is crap and naive, because the ideal candidate hasn’t emerged yet?
I’d rather we hire an interim manager
I see no point in sticking with something that we already know doesn’t work, I would prefer to gamble on an unknown where there is at least some chance of success than a known flop.
Gambling on a unknown just doesn't appeal at all to me, I don't know who we should wait for tbh, but it's fairly clear there are no standout candidates right now, maybe if we were getting linked to Amorin or Naggelsman then it might be a bit exciting, but there are no links, and even then it's only the unknown that makes it exciting more than any confidence.
You talk about the system, but by all accounts Ineos are going to impose the style on the manager, and also take the transfers away from him, so if Ten Hag is open to this then things will undoubtly have to change, so he might as well stay even if it's classed as basically an interim.
