Surely Ole would know if Haaland is here for talks or not? Unless the people above him haven't told him he's coming for talks? Wouldn't surprise me.
Could it maybe, just maybe be, that he knows full well what's going on and is just deflecting like he always does.

Shocking as it may be.

Well, the normal route from Stavanger to the world is via Amsterdam, Oslo or Copenhagen. Sometimes London. I've travelled the world from Stavanger (it is my local airport), and I've never had a connection in Manchester, and to be frank never heard of anybody else who have either..
Dear Santa, please tweet this at a journo in the presser so they can read it word for word.

Considering the fact that Solkskjaer's appointment as United manager was the biggest news in Norway for a whole week, people still think he'd move to Germany instead given equal offers...

LOL? That's the most negative interpretation I've seen on a situation this year.

Sure. Could easily be playing the semantics game, i.e. through a club secretary.

Again, this is assuming he's not flat out lying.
OK but you can say this about any answer.

So Ole has said something to suggest the trip is unrelated to the club but you're saying he could be lying.

So, we can assume he's either going to Leeds to visit friends/family or he's coming to Utd for talks.

I'll be honest I don't get your logic. Because its a big story in Norway to go to Utd that's why he should? I'm confused.

No Manchester is not a big connection airport AFAIK. Flights to for example the US are often connecting via Iceland, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Brussels. The only people i can think of who takes a plane to Manchester, who is not going to Manchester, are people who go to Liverpool :nervous:
Could be joining friends or family before moving on from there. The Haalands would have lived in Manchester and Leeds in the past

I think this is a very accurate description of how he will perform. A fair amount of the fans on here will be disappointed when they see him playing in our less than functional attack. A poacher needs a highly functional and dominating team around him/her to really perform.
This is true, we need a big improvement in creating chances, but James has been throwing great balls into the box and no ones been there to finish them off, thats where Haaland comes in.

Just getting near the end of Breaking Bad and come across a pic of Haaland. Looks a dead ringer for Todd, the one who shot his girlfriend in the back of the head on her porch.

Bad omen.

Haven’t we all been lambasting Rashford and Martial for not getting on the end of James’ numerous crosses across the front of goal?

Haaland may be the guy to poke them home.

It's fun? I enjoy muppet season, of course some take it too far and believe EVERYTHING, but I think plenty of us just enjoy the thrill of the chase.

Not on route through Ole, didn't realise he was a travel agent, still it pays to cover your basis if football management doesn't pan out

The guy is still contracted to another club so Ole has to be careful.

Read the words Ole said:

"I don’t think he’s en route here, to be fair, not through me anyway."

For a start "don't think" is already vagueing up his response.

Even without that - Ole has already met him recently. If we are in the final stages of a transfer Ole wouldn't be in the room for final negotiations/medicals and that sort of stuff. We can obviously rely on Ed for that sort of stuff (lolz)

True, maybe the most negative I've read today!

PS. I don't read the match day threads as I go to the games. #topred #humblebrag

We all love United
Was he spotted with United officials? I would assume if he’s coming to the club, we would have our own people escorting them to Carrington and stuff. It’s pretty common everywhere so it doesn’t make sense that they are coming here on club matters and they are coming alone. They are on their own personal agendas and it’s just a coincidence i reckon

If you honestly think that the flight tracking etc is done without any amount of self-deprecating and awareness of how sad it is then I'm afraid you're the one with the problem dude

Crap, always late for a party, missed the flight tracker. Maybe good thing. Last one I followed did f...all for United. Bastian..
Anyway, Ole is not going to say done deal, before talks with player and his father, what if it goes bad, and no deal? He would look pretty stupid if he said done deal before. And he proved before he knows how to play media people, say a lot without saying much.
