Much better stop for Lando, thank god! Really want him to take the win, being a race winner would reflect his calibre.

Crucial early passes for Hamilton. He will catch Lando but I reckon he won’t get past.

It’s great to see Mclaren back with a good car. Very likeable drivers too

Hamilton and Vertsappen basically crossed in the pits and Lewis now has a 10s gap. He’s passed brilliantly since the pit

The Mclaren has suddenly become a decent car, its so bizarre! So difficult to overtake recently.

Perez could come into this at the end. He's only going to be 5 seconds or so behind Hamilton on fresh tyres.

Haas retiring Schumacher as I assume they’re bored and want to beat the traffic

They've been getting stronger for a couple of years, and the powertrain change has certainly made a difference. Also this and Monza are very friendly for their car, they hate long sweeping corners like in Netherlands.

This is killing the impact of Max’s fresh mediums. Almost 20s behind Lewis now

Bottas is basically doing nothing. Just doesn't seem able to overtake anything despite being in a better car.

I thought that then, when leclerc came out of the pits he could’ve fought for the place but seemed to show no interest in doing so

Cancel that, another shocking pitstop from red bull.

Do these guys not practice these or what?

What's happened to Red Bull's pit stops? They used to be absolutely supreme at them.

Lewis has a long time here to get past. This is for the win.

Max will have to pit again I think. He's going to lose a lot of pace on these with 14 laps left.

Seems inevitable. Lewis looks on it as good as the McLaren is in a straight line. Can only see Lewis taking this
