Argh what a shame was looking forward to them both being on the front row, really hope he doesn't need to replace his gear box and get a grid drop as I want to see them both on track fighting

I want it to go to the last race

Did he hit the wall on that first slide also? He was super close there and then again later before hitting. Didn't look too big of a hit. Hopefully no gearbox damage.

That was crazy how close to the wall he got so many times on that lap.

He went all in on risk that lap, not surprised he binned it. Fine line at this level.

Jeez that’s unfortunate. You could see he was giving that everything.
Absolutely everything and looking like a pole position.
Totally committed. Will be interesting to find out if there is any secondary damage to the gearbox.
But he had to go for it.

Good qualification for Lando Norris in 7th.
