So any threat Bottas undercut was to Verstappen is gone, and they can take risks to try to win with no risk to still being 2nd.

That slow pit stop from Bottas has probably blown it for Merc. They were trying to get Max to protect the undercut but now he doesn’t have to.

Think Max will have such a pace advantage on fresher tyres when he pits, 6 seconds won't be enough for Hamilton.
