Woy F’kin Hodgson you legend!!! Put some respect on that man’s name!!! Double Palace defense!

I had Ferguson in one of my early drafts, but probably would've started him from the bench anyways. Well done punters

I guess all us templaters will be around 60 points with 4 players yet to go. I have Onana, Rashford, Salah and Jackson yet to play with 59 points.

The humble brags have started in earnest! Where was that police we were talking about?

60 with Onana, Bruno, Rashford and Trent still to play.

Estupian getting an assist and 3 bonus points is lovely.

The Saliba scandal and poor reffing putting a damper on the first day.

I still think, in a supposed game of skill, that it’s really unfair that certain people are privy to information and can act coyly about it while having the details to themselves.

For Aussies, for example, the deadline is 3.30 in the morning. How were they supposed to react to FPL Andy having, seemingly, direct access to a club source?

How are Europeans/Asians supposed to react to late pre-deadline news in American fantasy sports? How are Americans supposed to react to Australian fantasy?

I've been struggling with the WWC fantasy because the games in NZ have started at crazy hours. Would someone please think of me?

Pau Torres benched, that’s worrisome and possibly a transfer booked for me. Surprised there’s nobody raging about Callum Wilson being benched yet…

Oh that's good news with Estu. Saw the assist but assumed the conceded goal would ruin the bp

Hold on Estup lost his clean sheet and 1 bonus point, made an assist for 3 points and ends up with 3 bonus points.

I mean, I'll take it, but wtf

The players he leapfrogged lost the clean sheet too but didn't get any assists.

Is that last bit satire? It's an English football league for goodness sake.
It's nice it's worldwide but if people are keen enough to watch games at stupid o clock the same stands for transfers.

Should be a further back deadline to avoid leaks. Easy solution! The further it is back, the less chance of leaks and people having an unfair advantage. It’s not difficult.

Just an example. It’s not a level playing field if people have access to information that others don’t. Deadlines being further back goes some way to resolving that issue. Easy.

Yeah it's bullshit but what can be done? Maybe the GW deadline should be the first kick off?
60 with only Shaw, Bruno, Rash and Watkins remaining. Any good?

How much further back do you want them? Gabriel news broke a whole day before he was due to play.
You'll always get the odd bit of news emerging that others don't pick up on.

What exactly would pushing the deadline back achieve? This (Gabriel) was a leak for a match that was going to be played 18 hours later. Do you want the deadline to be 24 hours before?

Most sensible fantasy games have the deadline when the first match kicks off. That's the only solution they should consider.

47 plus 7 bonus points. James, Jackson, Onana, Bruno and Rashy left.
Gabriel and Stones were too costly

If he comes on for two mins and keeps Nketiah on my bench I won't be too happy, but it would be in keeping with how things have gone so far today.

Mbeumo better deliver to justify my choice of him over Mitoma and Diaby.

Yes.

I have this squad.

Onana Turner
Estupinan Chilwell Gabriel Udogie Beyer
Saka Martinelli Rashford Bruno Mitoma
Pedro Haaland Archer

2.5 ITB I think.

Ah basically you had Pedro and Gab to my Saliba. I've got Jackson tomorrow.
2 different chump defenders. And I've got Wissa benched.
