Oh, I'm certain nothing will come of it. I'd be amazed if it did.What I mean is they'd have to prove or have good reason to believe he was referencing Munich. The fact that it was emojis and not words makes his tweet quite ambiguous.
I can't imagine anything will come of this.
But not because there's anything substantially different between the Cavani and Fernandinho tweets. Both should have merited the same punishment - be it an apology being deemed sufficient due to lack of provable intent; or a 3 match being applied due to proof of intent being deemed unnecessary.
However the differing reaction of the media, and the subject matters, means that one might allow some common sense and context to be applied by the FA, while the other they were unduly pressurised into banning despite making it as clear as possible in the statement that they believed him innocent of any malicious intent.
