Omg I was actually thinking about him today being the striker who van Gaal mentioned. I was gwnuinely so close to putting him in that recent thread. This is so strange
 
This rumour was fired straight from the scrotum of the devil, he's slow, lazy and not very good at scoring goals.
 
But I don't want him because he's too slow, lanky and immobile imo. I just can't see him being a success in the premier league.

His first season was not that dreadful to be honest with 16 goals in 34 games but his second season demonstrated his weaknesses and he looked quite out of depth with. The transformation of the 3-5-2 to the shuffled 4-3-1-2 formation demonstrated the need for a dynamic attacker (Morata) rather then a static one like Llorente. There was more space to attack and that is clearly not a supremacy of his.
 
The papers will mention every name under the sun now, and everyone's going to believe it. I can imagine someone has just come up with Llorente because he hasn't been linked with us recently.
 
I remember he was a dream signing on here a few years back during the Bielsa's first season, the year he scored that volley against us. Seems to have had a torrid time since then but at the end of the day any striker we bring in is going to be back up, we know his top level is fairly high and he's suited to a lone front man role. I'm not massively against it but I've not really the pleasure of watching his turgid performances for Juve to put me off him.
 
Wasn't McDonnell the one who said we weren't interested in Schneiderlin, a few hours before his medical? He doesn't know shit
