Wesley Snijder 2.0. Years from now ETH will reveal we were never in for him, shortly after winning his 3rd European treble and 10th PL title.
In 18 months time I'm hoping that Hannibal will become our midfield maestro, and all this De Jong talk will be over. In fact I hope that a few of our youngsters will come through and establish themselves in the first team squad, especially midfield as Casemiro, Eriksen and Fernandes are all gradually phased out, but we are talking three four years here.
It will be interesting to see if De Jong plays for Barca against us, I'm really looking forward to this game, and to see if we are ready to compete with, and beat some of these 'big' clubs in europe.

Really? Wow! I admit I didn't partake of the FDJ thread anywhere near as often as the Sneijder thread. It really must have reached levels of hysteria far beyond what I had previously believed possible.
