Wasn't he the no.6 in Ten Hag's 18/19 Ajax team? We could get away with having a box-to-box grafter like Laimer next to him.Would be a class signing. But will still need a DM next to him

Here we go with the Prem mystique again.
I swear some of you have the Premier League as if it's a different sport being played with rocket-boosts on players' backs.
Because he's not physical enough, he's not some what an athlete, he doesn't have an "engine"Why? I mean... why?
Sounds too good to be true. All the talk of destroyers, DMs etc but I've always wanted a playmaker at United. Someone with that intelligence and weight of pass. Utterly neglected area. He'd be the Carrick deep-lying playmaker replacement we've been dying for for years
Surely if Jorginho can adapt then this bloke can.I'm really asking this : Do you think that De Jong is suitable for the PL ? because I'm not sure
I could give you Teni can’t think of a single reason why Frenkie would want this move. This is never happening.
No. He was a deep lying midfielder, not a DM(the 6)Wasn't he the no.6 in Ten Hag's 18/19 Ajax team? We could get away with having a box-to-box grafter like Laimer next to him.

The manager that made him is our manager now. That's one very good reasoni can’t think of a single reason why Frenkie would want this move. This is never happening.
Sure but Di Maria is a good example of how obligation transfers can go sour.I don't think you can force a player to sign a contract with any club.
Where’s that come from?
I remember it was reported by some credible sources. I could be wrong of course but it correlates with both De Jong and Xavi saying they want to stay for many years. And that Xavi caveating the only way hed be obligated to sell is if theres a silly offer.Damn it, when did he tell you that?

Kessie is pretty far from the Barcelona DNA, letting De Jong go for him would be absurd. That's a really bad call from Barcelona if it does happen. They blew a boatload of money on Torres to end up selling De Jong, I guess Laporta will loose a lot of credibility after that (if true). They have Kessie coming in too
Being reunited with Ten Hag and getting a chance to play in another top league. He played the best football of his career so far under ETH and he knows how to get the most out of him more than any manager, even the Netherlands manager.i can’t think of a single reason why Frenkie would want this move. This is never happening.
He's 24 years old. Not exactly an old has been. Probably haven't hit his peak yetIs he prepared to graft? i would prefer an up and coming talent rather than yet another player who costs a bomb and then phones in his performance each week
Hope he genuinely wants to come and work under ETHTweet

Hope he's not like ADM and is genuinely excited at making it big here.Sure but Di Maria is a good example of how obligation transfers can go sour.

If it happens, I'd hope Ten Hag is a good judge of his character and feels he would have the right attitude about it.Is he prepared to graft? i would prefer an up and coming talent rather than yet another player who costs a bomb and then phones in his performance each week
I suppose he could reject personal terms, but with Barcelona in the financial position they're in, it would get very awkward for him I'd imagine. He's probably one of a limited number of players that they could get big money for and would be willing to lose.He doesn't want to come but was apparently obligated if Barca accepted a big fee right?
We're Insane Wages FC, so not so much of a stumbling block.Isn't he on insane wages at Barca?
Haha, it’s almost as if 80% of the best players currently in the prem came from foreign leagues……Here we go with the Prem mystique again.
