I also remember there was a winger called Vicente that played for Valencia in the same period who was highly rated. Both wingers (Vicente & Joaquin) were constantly compared to one another.
Valencia was such a great team to start a new save on FM.

Raul Albiol, Marchena, Villa, Baraja, Vicente, Mata, Joaquin, Pablo Hernandez, David Silva on FM 09 but they didn't have any budget.

Vicente was very good aswell, injuries ruined him unfortunately. Fergie was a big fan and actually tried to sign him for United.

Betis have just signed Juanmi, in talks for Mitrovic. I think they have some monies now...

The negotiations, as they assure ED , could accelerate in the coming days, although the unpopular of the operation (even more after the commotion by Serra) invite those interested to think that before one will be announced, or even two signings by Betis , before the official departure of Giovani Lo Celsoends, which will clearly turn into the most expensive sale of Real Betis Balompié.
Google translated from the spanish paper, it said there will be incoming player announcement before departure of Celso

He's the kind of player we'll be moaning about in 6 months time when he's tearing it up for Spurs.

We need players like him with potential. If Pogba goes, he'd be a great addition.

Why did Paris let him go so easily? It feels like they drop the ball a little frequently with younger players.

Lo Celso, Coman in the past, Digne, Rabiot most likely this summer...

Depends on how much potential he has. Every semi promising player isn't one we'll regret not signing.

They just sold one of their biggest prospects to Leverkusen this summer apparently

Yes him and Joaquin both seemed super talented. I remember Vicente when he was really young was the back up to a really good left winger, think it may have even been SIlva. Vicente actually looked the better player and I thought he would go on to be a world star. Neither he or JOaquin really had the careers they should have. DO remember us linked with Vicente and then he just seemed to vanish, didnt realise it was injuries, shame

Never heard of Lo Celso until the recent transfer rumours and just as wont take too much from great youtube videos cant really judge from not so great ones either, bu t watching them he seems very good dribbling, a good shot but his passing and decision making in the videos doesnt seem to be that great, is he that special as would have thought he would be linked with the big Spanish sides if he was?

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus
Looks like he doesn't know how to pass
It's like as good as he is at dribbling, his end product is equally as painful to watch in those videos. Genuinely he looks like he'd be the worst passer in our midfield. So many times he has options of slipping somebody through but it's like he knows he can't pull it off even though it's a routine pass really.

Yet another player linked with Manutd who is initially linked with another Prem club. Have manutd got no scouts?

Why? Is it scouts responsibility to write transfer news?

Easy.
He is much better and has played much more games.
Plus he has a video with shitty music.

That video makes him look like shite. Like a worse version of Pogba, a selfish heads-down ball hogger who doesn't know when to pass and just runs the ball into blind alleys, that in the EPL would turnover possession repeatedly. Can't see why we would need a player like that.

Looks the sort of player we need. Comfortable on the ball, under pressure. Ability.

Betis bidding for the Roma keeper now, 20m. Be very interested to see if he does end up here. He’s definitely on the move.

Yep those passes would be routine but he avoided them. Its more like a low-lights video of a young midfielder who cant do the basics and screws up attacks.

So what makes this guy worth 50m more than Longstaff ? Sell him to me
Exceptional dribbling ability
Very good passing and through balls
A serious goal threat
Hard working though to play in a 3 man midfield
Versatile. He can play CM, AM or even as a forward

Then why in his highlight videos does it show him being abject at this?

Highlight videos aren’t always the best way to judge a player.

For instance, when Betis beat Madrid 0-2 at the Bernabeu, Lo Celso created both goals with an important pass over the top of Madrid’s defence.

Many thanks for the heads up. Yep might be good for others to assess him watching games highlights. He looks very lively and assured in this game causing problems for the Real midfield.

He wants to work with Poch from what I keep hearing, whether that means we'll get him is a different matter altogether.

No links sorry but there are several reports from various sources if that helps :D
Yeah, I think I’ve seen the report, but it says that he spoke to Poch to informally and juande ramos’ fitness coach that is at betis. Sounds a tad dodgy though.
