The Special One!
Sultan literally 100s of migrant workers have died being treated appallingly because of unsafe working conditions. Calling this out isn’t uncalled for.@Wumminator stop your grandstanding and behaving in an ostentatious manner by trying to attract favourable attention. Going by your posts you are intelligent enough to better present your opposition to the purchase.
I understand people have opinions on ownership but to call Qatar a murderous nation is going too far and uncalled. I can bring up many instances where far more atrocities have been committed by the very nation in which Manchester is based. Going onto the LGBTQ question and based on Abu Dhabi and Qatar owning City and PSG they both have thriving ladies' teams and from my understanding, there are no rules barring work recruitment or entry into the stadiums for any such groups.
The simple fact is the future owners will need to work within the framework of UK laws in all aspects of the governance of the club.
There’s literally hundreds if not thousand of deaths at this regime’s hands. Is the official stance that we can’t mention that?
Is the most we can hope for LGBT+ users that they’re allowed in grounds? Is that it, I should be happy that our owners don’t banish women from the stadium?
