This season broke him. TalkSport made a show just to laugh at his takes for the rest of the week.
Won’t be missed.

He didn’t really say anything controversial this even and he still comes across as losing the plot a bit when he discusses things.

Retiring is probably for the best tbh.

comfortable and settled in my rut
Not a great pundit in terms of his thoughts on actual football. But had spoken eloquently and in support of gay players, attend gay rights parades etc so I will always respect him for that especially when it would be easy to assume he would think the opposite

I don't think he was/is that bad as some people love to think.

Young people have little bit hard listning and learning from people that have played football when they weren't born.

He’s a moron. Bias as you can possibly get. And was shit at his job

Sorry to hear he is retiring. Was a superb player and I enjoyed hearing his views on football. No idea why he appears to be disliked in here.

Used to be on every Monday with White and Jordan where Simon crucified him for every shit opinion he had.
Most of the quotes you heard about Casemiro, De Zerbi and defending Ronaldo etc came from there. He quit after about two months because of the slagging

Sometimes he does wear his bias a little too obviously on his sleeve when it comes to United. Which probably shouldn't be too surprising given who he is.

In general I like him when other teams are involved. I think he makes some incisive points.

I would celebrate cutting down the unbelievably bias Liverpool pundits, who just can’t contain themselves during their games.

But a part of me is expecting Stevie G as the ready made replacement!

Beat Villa, Klopp hilariously does his hamstring while berating an official, Souness announces retirement. One of the great days.

I actually liked listening to his most of the time. He used to wind me up years ago when Totti was his favourite person to put down but overall I thought he was decent.

Wonder how many drafts of that speech it took to remove all references to Pogba.
