What the actual feck ?
Half a billion spent, yet "it will take multiple windows and patience to get things where they should be."
feck off you bunch of Chav cnuts.
Ten Hag has polished a steaming pile of shite within a few months whilst spending (a lot) , but still much less than your lot.
I hope Chelsea crash and burn, they fecking deserve it.
Why , exactly, do we deserve it?
you seem a little angry.
Which makes sense: from what I hear there is a gaping hole in the roof of an area of your stadium, and the epic Glazers are want to spend the money to update the stadium. We just put in the first 850 million dollar payment on the upgrades to ours.
Ten Hag is not exactly lighting it up, so let’s get that out of the way first. Second, Ten Hag chose his players and had a full pre season with the team. You are at basically full health, and this is the max gear you go at. How much MORE money do you think the Glazers will part with? You guys thought the fix was giving Sir Alex more “input”?
Our new ownership was in a position where they felt pressure to give Tuchel a chance to keep the job and asked him point blank of he wanted total control over everything. Tuchel said yes, then proceeded to completely screw us over. Barely engaging in the transfer market, doing little more than replying with thumbs up or thumbs down text responses.
When asked if the midfield should be addressed, he was adamant it was fine. First huge mistake.
He wanted Aubamayang as the answer at striker, because Tuchel is famous for not considering anything past the next season. Second huge mistake.
Tuchel then threw a huge fit when we were going to let Azpi move on and get a competitor for Reece at RB.
That was massive, season affecting mistake number 3.
Fofana was playing well prior to injury.
Koulibaliy suffers from the same problem Cucurella, Silva, and the rest of our defense se does: Jorgihno can not play the role of shielding mid in the PL. Tuchel gambled everything on Kante returning.
Tuchel was given near complete control of all that windows money, and he muffed it.
Now Potter is in, and we have brought in all the people he wanted to help with recruitment. We brought in Shields and the others as well - all with excellent reputations. We are planning to fox some of those midfield issues and the RB issue in January with up to 3 purchases.
We will spend just as much as much, if not more, next Summer. And there will be a coordinated effort of highly regarded football people in addition to an engaged manager ready to guide that spending.
That isnt a rose tint. It is the actuality of what is going to happen.
Chelsea fans just need to learn patience. They have become almost addicted to Romans knee-jerk approach to running things.
That sometimes worked in short term bursts, but it hurt in the long term structure of the squad.
Potter is a good coach. He just needs to be properly empowered. The fact that so many of you think that is an over-the-top take is just weird.
