Yeah definitely IF Levy would actually sell to us which I still have serious doubts happeningLooking forward to the "I was wrong about Kane" thread

Confident we will have the money to do it then, need to get Kane IF we can whilst those guys are still in their primeWill undoubtedly be a massive improvement for us and probably make us title contenders.
Will also be very expensive, with the risk being that he might only have two or three of his peak left in him. In two or three seasons we might also be in need of replacements for Varane, Casemiro as well as De Gea (probably sooner with De Gea). It’s a difficult situation having to replace the spine of the team when that time comes.
Your Sheringham example isn't really the same. He didn't start at Spurs, didn't come through their academy, didn't have the relationship with the fans Kane has.Why would it wreck his status with Spurs fans? Same kind of wreckage Sheringham got when he moved here?
He isn't leaving the PL and he isn't going to waste his final years at Spurs. City don't need him as you say so where does that leave him?
Come on, United are another level to Spurs. Would a Sevilla player not go to Barca or Real Madrid?Your Sheringham example isn't really the same. He didn't start at Spurs, didn't come through their academy, didn't have the relationship with the fans Kane has.
But in anycase he left in the way I said Kane would only leave. For a surefire chance of top silverware. Sheringham left to go to the best club inbthe country.
Kane would be leaving to go to a club unsure of top 4.
How would you feel towards Rashford if he left for Arsenal for instance?
Perhaps we will, our finances going forward depends both on new owners, CL, and FFP.Confident we will have the money to do it then, need to get Kane IF we can whilst those guys are still in their prime
He's the right top transfer target for me,like I just said in previous post we need to sign him whilst we have that experienced spine in their primeLooks like someone at our club has right clicked and declared as Top Transfer Target.
Yeah and he flops hard enough like you think Kane could and we sell him for way below what we gotYou sell him at his market vcalue. Nottingham Forest literally signed Jesse Lingard on that salary so its not the same barrier that some of the salaries we have handed out are.
I’d agree. Two or three seasons of a world class striker could be all we need short-term, and it gives us time to find the next breakthrough number 9 for the long-term.He's the right top transfer target for me,like I just said in previous post we need to sign him whilst we have that experienced spine in their prime
Many think that's Osimhen and should get him now but feel Kane is made for this shirt and Rapha & Casa can make him a winner FINALLYI’d agree. You’re basing this on what you want, not actual sense. There’s not a chance that he will sign a new contract with Spurs, so why would his brother be putting pressure on Levy (other than to make sure he’s sold this summer)? Our name is being linked with him because it is the obvious move for both parties.
Moving to United right now is not comparable to moving to Madrid or zbarca though is it.Come on, United are another level to Spurs. Would a Sevilla player not go to Barca or Real Madrid?
He would be moving to one of the biggest clubs in the world who will be in with a shot of winning titles with him in the squad. Imagine the legacy he would leave coming here and taking us back to the very top!
And guaranteed to never break the PL record. Can see him going to Bayern. Guaranteed trophies and big club.
So what? He's not Ronaldo. I would hope that trophies are more important for him than this record. We would be perfect for him.And guaranteed to never break the PL record.
Forgot about that. How many more does he need? And guaranteed to never break the PL record.
Think maybe 65 but could be wrongForgot about that. How many more does he need?
Kane would push further up than at Spurs because getting better service from the likes of Eriksen,Bruno & CasaKane and Fernandes don’t mix for me. Kane doesn’t want it with centre halves anymore and he’ll be standing on Bruno’s toes half the time. Bruno likes to get rid of the ball within one second of receiving it, and when he gets the ball and looks up, he almost certainly won’t be seeing a run from Kane to hit.
I remember Shaw, Foden and co breaking behind the full back against France and looking into the box and Kane not even being there. For a traditional 9, I don’t think that’s acceptable.
He wouldn’t. He likes dropping deep.Kane would push further up than at Spurs because getting better service from the likes of Eriksen,Bruno & Casa
So who should we sign then who can benefit from our strong spine right now out of interestHe wouldn’t. He likes dropping deep.
If he wanted to push forward he would for England, he doesn’t, he’s often one of the deepest midfielders.
Dependent on our ownership structure in the summer I’d be testing Juventus resolve, given their ongoing issues, for Dusan Vlahovic. So who should we sign then
It is what I want - because it is clearly the right move for United. However, it’s also entirely accurate. Spurs would have to do something remarkable between now and the Summer for Kane to have any interest in staying there. Now, admittedly, I am then assuming the premier league record means more to him than picking up 100% guaranteed trophies for Bayern or PSG but, assuming that’s right, we have to be in pole position to sign him. You’re basing this on what you want, not actual sense.
Football changes quickly and United with ten Hag are closed to being title challengers than a team who might not be top 4 anymore. We are comfortably going to qualify and are looking up rather than behind, and I think that's pretty obvious to most.Your Sheringham example isn't really the same. It isn’t the right move for United. You’ve been blinded by a name. Kane will re sign because no other club will bend to his will the way Spurs will.It is what I want - because it is clearly the right move for United. However, it’s also entirely accurate. Very true and it's clear he divides opinion in hereFootball changes quickly and United with ten Hag are closed to being title challengers than a team who might not be top 4 anymore. We are comfortably going to qualify and are looking up rather than behind, and I think that's pretty obvious to most.
Never understand why people like Vlahović so much. I think they think he is something he isn't. He is not an impressive footballer at allDependent on our ownership structure in the summer I’d be testing Juventus resolve, given their ongoing issues, for Dusan Vlahovic.
That’s completely irrelevant to the fact that Kane will never be an on the shoulder number 9, mind.
He’s Better than Oshimen so I get it.Never understand why people like Vlahović so much. I think they think he is something he isn't. He is not an impressive footballer at all
People are salivating over Osimhen who isn’t as impressive as him thoughNever understand why people like Vlahović so much. I think they think he is something he isn't. He is not an impressive footballer at all
Oh man, Vlahović is not even close to being better than osimhen, come on ... Where has his hype come from? 1 half season of massive xG overperformance which got him his big transfer and which he hasn't repeated, and has been a decent but nothing great striker otherwise? He’s Better than Oshimen so I get it.
He's far better than Vlahović, don't see how Vlahović is on par with him but personally for United I don't think he would settle in as smoothly as stylistically he might clash with Rashford. The only striker who gets as close as possible to guaranteeing us as title challengers is Kane IMO.People are salivating over Osimhen who isn’t as impressive as him though
I don’t see how Osimhen comes close. Yeah, I've never got it either. I haven't seen quite as much of Vlahovic but the idea that he's better than Osimhen just seems wrong.Never understand why people like Vlahović so much. I think they think he is something he isn't. He is not an impressive footballer at all
He wouldn’t. He drops dee because he doesn’t want ‘service’ like a ball in behind or something that would require him to get the better of his centre half in order to earn the shot. He avoids confrontation due to lack of mobility.Kane would push further up than at Spurs because getting better service from the likes of Eriksen,Bruno & Casa
Statistically Vlahović is pretty average in his all round game (which he does more than Osimhen in, but it doesn't stand out with anything). He's decent in getting shots off and average in terms of the chances he gets (64th percentile in xG in Serie A is not very good). Osimhen is elite in his goalscoring and the chances he gets himself in (96th percentile). He's fast and strong physically where he'd adapt better, far better in the air (Vlahović is 39th percentile, Osimhen 68th)... Osimhen is a poacher, but he has elite attributes as one. Vlahović is an all round striker who is decidedly average while playing on Serie A, not much to suggest that would be better if he left. He'd be like Havertz up top if we got lucky.I don’t see how Osimhen comes close. Don’t think Kane fits with United either.
I’ve seen lots of guarantees in my time, most recently Yves Bissouma would control games on his own if he came. Now he can’t get a game over Oliver Skipp
