Meh…is the word.
truth be told United fans as a whole have never taken to him. Apart from the initial few months after he returned, I don’t think fans have been fully behind him. Although he is also gigantically over rated by a section of the fanbase.
He’s never been fully committed to United and his performances have shown that and you can’t fool fans. He was never a player who constantly dragged us to results or form despite having the ability to do so and the reason is because he lacks drive and doesn’t care enough about United. United failing never hurt him enough.

People will point to France as if international football is anywhere near the same as club football. Playing for France you might play against high quality opposition twice or three times in a tournament. Rest of the time/year it’s mediocre and significantly inferior opposition.
Glad to see the back of him and his fat cnut of an agent.

Ultimately Sir Alex made the right call on him all those years ago. And Pogba has been a failure and looking back I wish we’d never signed him.
When you think of the times Robson, Cantona and Keanne won us matches we should have lost, sometimes simply by their sheer strength of character and desire, it really puts Pogbas contribution to the team into focus; he has never shown that sort of desire or character as it simply isnt in him; when the going got tough, Pogba vanished more often than not. I wont miss him one little bit.

His incredible talent is so obvious yet his contribution to United was ultimately disappointing. He became the luxury we couldn't afford.
Like others on here, I'll be glad to see the back of his agent.

Pogba is like a BMW.

Flashy, expensive, unique, but its not worth it after all, due to it being very high maintenance.

Its spends a lot of time at the repair shop and it doesnt perform well as an everyday car.

Came back at the wrong time really. Our team has been way too dysfunctional for him to ever excel in. He’s not a player to build a team around, he’s the star dust you add to an already good team. We also never played him in a midfield 3 which he needs. He has many faults but at times he looked so much better on the ball than his team mates, jeez.

I will remember his first season in which he assisted so many Zlatan goals, the only time he had an intelligent attacker that was on the same wavelength.

Will also remember the club not buying a DM to partner him.

And also him having no proper manager for the majority of his time at United.

Occasionally brilliant, but most of the time underwhelming, lazy, toxic and stupid.

This sums it up.
I’ll remember him for the constantly shit performances and the thousands of excuses from his fanboys.

As someone who has watched United for well over 30 years, and in that time seen some exceptionally talented players come and go, the main thing I appreciated about them wasn't their skill with a football, it was their mentality and their will to win above all else. Keane epitomised it as the captain, but it ran through the entire team.

Its why I've never warmed to Pogba, and why I've grown to dislike the player immensely. He's everything I hate about the modern multimillionaire fame-seeking egotistical and arrogant footballer. He turns up when it suits him, strolls around, has no pride in performance, and ultimately just wants an easy life while making more money than he'll ever need. To any decent hardworking person there's nothing relatable about him. As far as player profiles go he is the polar opposite of the type of player we should be targeting.

You mean "Jaguar" they are flashy but need high maintenance.

I would have said he is more like a Renault, looks great, modern but the engine lacks class and durability.

Was there ever a moment in time where we as fans felt Pogba wanted to be at United and loved the club? Truth is he never really had an attachment to United. But the same could be said for some of our other supposed 'star players'.

Not as great as hoped. Made me appreciate the value of "fit" and that modern players are weird. He doesn't have a defined set role and plays different roles for every team and doesn't specialise in any position

Probably the worst signing we've ever made when you take into account overall performances, injuries, how much he cost, wages and the fact he's leaving on a free

Transfer fee of £90 + Annual wages of £15m * 6years = total cost of £180m.

154 appearances = £1.17m per game.

Always mouthing off about the club when away on international duty also. Imagine Robson, Cantona and Keane doing that.

He was toxic and overrated. Good riddance, we don't need 'players' like him

Good riddance. Showed the supporters zero respect by getting his agent and brother to talk about him wanting to leave every international break. The club should have sold him on the spot.

Pogba is a magnificent player. If Scholes had Pogba's pace, physique and crisp technique then we'll be talking about a next Diego Armando Maradona here.

Unfortunately he had it too easy in my opinion. He came to United following a bust up with his former club. Instead of fighting for a chance with us he did the same with us and went to Juventus. Juve at the time had a stellar CM were Pogba fitted as a glove. Then he moved back to United to make big money. When he fount himself in a less then optimal conditions he didn't adapted to it but did what he always do ie flee.

Its a shame for us as we'll looking like proper idiots by it but once he grows old, the spot lights are off and all that remains is memories then I can see him regretting doing what he did.

Pogba has that strength, but only 1-2 games a season. I remember his party spoiler against City, a symbolic win with no effect to the season. I also remember his Hollywood pass to Rashford that beat Chelsea on the 1st game of season, but AWOL for the rest of the season.

My most disappointment was his AWOL in the Europa Final. Yes he showed up if and when he likes it, but he really should have shown up in a Final, which he didn't.
