As far as evidence that he is still one of the best; name one team where he left before winning trophies. And the fact that teams flourish after he leaves has nothing to do with his work at those clubs? I guess if he left clubs in ruins (like his predecessors at United) that would make him a better manager?

If you want your club to flourish, then hire Mourihno and then make him leave, and voila, your club will flourish. Unbelievable!
I will name you two teams which sacked him and did better after he left. Real Madrid and Chelsea. None of these two clubs would want him back. If you want your club flourish, hire a manager who wins big things. Zidane's success has sweet feck all to do with Mou. Conte walked it after picking up the ruins left by Mou.

What the feck is that? An a click bait slideslow from third rate website that claims Tottenham's squad cost more than PSG's? Give your fecking head a wobble @Water Melon :houllier:

Here's a genuine article based on actual research:

Thank you. So we had the most expensive squad last season and finished 6th. We now have the third most expensive squad in the world and are out of league race in November and were beaten by Sevilla under a new manager. Jose give your head a fecking wobble and you @Regulus Arcturus Black too

Give my head a wobble for stating that your fact was bullshit and providing proof? Erm, ok.

To be fair, included in United's squad last year @Water Melon was:

• Schneiderlin 35 million euros
• Rooney 37 million euros
• Memphis Depay 34 million euros
• Luke Shaw 37.5 million euros

Kinda skews the figures wouldn't you say?

This season as you say, we are second in the league with the second most expensive squad.

And he wants a manager that has the most expensive team in Spain and sits 4th in the league and was eliminated from the cup by Leganes.

Not to mention that Zidane inherited the team and that they played together for years before he was appointed, yet somehow all credit goes to him and none to Mourihno who put them back on winning track.

It's impossible to maintain a certain standard of discussion when all facts and reason are ignored.

On the subject of team building, here are the (notable) players bought by managers at Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Real Madrid
Mourinho: Di Maria, Khedira, Carvalho, Ozil, Varane, Modric, Lopez (goalkeeper)
Ancelotti: Casemiro, Carvajal, Isco, Bale, Kroos, James, Navas, Chicharito
Benitez: Casemiro, Asensio, Danilo, Lucas Vasquez, Kovacic
Zidane: Morata

So Zidane has literally added nothing in terms of improving his squad. All of Real Madrid players who contributed to success since Jose's time there were bought by Jose, Ancelotti, and Benitez (who was laughed out of town, and look at the players he bought). To Zidane's defense, he hasn't had a need to buy any players, but to give him all the credit and none to his predecessors is ridiculous.

Chelsea
Mourinho: Pedro, Diego Costa, Filipe Luis, Fabregas, Matic, Willian, Schurrle
Conte: Kante, [Irrelevant point], David Luiz (these are the ones bought in 2016 who won the title)

So the core of the team that won the title with Conte was bought by Jose, and Conte added a couple of very good players. Once again, to give Jose no credit is plain out ridiculous.

Not to mention that Jose won league titles with both teams. Proved that the teams were good enough to win the league before the people who came after him.

This is false. The facts are facts Chelsea were 1 point above relegation due to Jose and his fall out with players. So the reason is Jose. Conte walked the league, when all of Pep, Mou, Klopp and Poch were here. So the fact is that Conte did with Chelsea better than Mou with United. Another fact is that by the end of this season Pep will have done much better with City than Jose with United. Also, the last two stints of Jose prior to joining United show that he has complete meltdowns, loses the dressing room and once he leaves those teams, their new managers do better. Zizou did what Mou was not able to do with Real and this is another fact. Unless Jose wins the league with United, I can not call him the best manager in the league, let alone one of the best ones in the world. Last season, Mous level was 6th in the Prem and the best in EL. This season not being able to beat Sevilla is total failure. Beaten fair and square by a complete rookie.
The way you talk about managers one would swear they just player chess or tiddlywinks against each other one v one. There are such things as squads and players which play roles in all what you judge mourinho on.

The point is that he is the manager and first and foremost resposible for the performance of the players, including results, tactics, transfers etc. His direct resposibility is to do the best possible with what he has inherited and bought. This is exactly why managers are sacked and hired, based on the results of collective performance of the teams they manage. This season, Klopp has done better in Europe than Mou with less resources, while Pep is tearing a new one to the whole Prem. So, Jose is not the best in England, neither he is one of the best in Europe.

Well, Jose is doing better in the league than everyone but Pep, and he's also doing better than Klopp and Pep in the FA, and he's surely doing better than Zidane domestically.

You're way too emotional
