What sort of sanction did Klopp get for swearing at the fourth official?

He would like to win the league and wipe the smile off FA. But this team though...

Maybe we should look back at how Micheal Antonio didn't get a yellow card after yelling and berating Jon Moss and his assistant referee throughout the match...or for a late slide tackle on a United player. The inconsistency of the referees/FA is baffling.

Didnt they say they'd apologise to Wenger for doing exactly the same thing?

Arsenal Wenger kicks a bottle, gets sent off and receives an apology.

Mourinho kicks a bottle, gets sent off and gets charged.

Mourinho has precedence whereas Arsene didn't/does not. He has to calm himself down and redirect his anger/energy toward motivating the players

Is this ban anything to do with his prior offences, or is it literally because he kicked a bottle in a moment of frustration?

If it's the latter then it's ridiculous from the FA.

People bringing up the Wenger comparison would do well to properly research the incident.

Firstly, Hackett himself doesn't give any quotes directly and it's only Bevan (LMA) saying Hackett was going to apologize (but hadn't yet). Secondly, Bevan mentions the referee was correct to send him off as per the law, but felt the context could have been taken into account. In Jose's case, the context was he was protesting a referee's decision. Wenger's was more frustration at his own team and the way the game was going. Him not having anywhere to go and being taunted by the fans after being sent to the stands was also a factor. Not to mention Jose's already been given a touchline ban this season, so deserves a longer punishment.

Wenger has been sent to the stands numerous times for kicking bottles and nearly fighting with opposition managers.

Actually Wenger kicked the bottle after Arsenal had a goal ruled out for offside.

Don't really care about any other manager

But he is acting like a brat and is being treated like one

Okay but he wasn't complaining about the offside being incorrect. It was frustration that he knew the game was lost.

Now you guys are getting a taste of what we dealt with in his second spell. Seemed like every other week the FA were charging him. Remember the whole "campaign against Chelsea" storm that he started?

He just seems perpetually irritated these days and the slightest incident sets him off.

Jose is being stupid. He has been charged by the FA before and knows how things work and yet keeps doing the same thing over and over. It would not just be the bottle. There has to be something more to it.

The FA cannot be so biased while letting Wenger go and charging Jose. Him behaving this way is adding more pressure on the team and himself. Thought he would have matured by now. Keeps screwing up with stupid decisions on the field and outside as well.
