Accidental founder of Blaggstianity.
He'll get another ban this week for agreeing with the ref. and saying he did a good job whereas Wenger, who blamed the ref for their defeat, will go unpunished yet again.
While it pisses me off it might be a good thing. Them against us was something the great man himself instilled. A feck them they hate us even resonates with us fans

He should stop talking about referees in public. Period. There is no point debating X manager does this. It's written clearly in the rules that you can't talk about referees and he shouldn't be doing that.

In fact, this whole system of asking questions right after the final whistle is flawed. Most of the times, emotions are high and you are not thinking clearly and someone shoves a microphone up your throat.

For the bottle, well I kind of agree partially. There were a lot of people present in the technical area including the 4th official and to kick a bottle in a moment of frustration doesn't look good. It should have been a simple warning that any such behavior the second time will result in a ban.

What's wrong with managers and players giving a bit of emotional response. Their interaction with the press is as it is increasingly mechanical.

So Wenger says Refs are like lions in zoo.
Might get an apology soon from the refs

Can you cite an example of another manager who has kicked stuff?
Conte, Wenger, Hughes and Sir Alex, plus others but as I don't keep a note book when watching games.... Bottles, the ground, footballs etc. most not even noted by the media. No idea why I'm answering your question as you made no attempt at mine.

Lions are majestic cats. It's a compliment. I expect a soft penalty to be given for them sometime in the coming weeks.

Just saw that Rondon's slap wasn't worthy of punishment, even though the ref admitted to missing it. FA is such a great institution and a beacon of justice.

Should be banned, but in the end he would’ve missed the Arsenal match, so can’t complain.

Every time I see this title I think Jose has been charged yet again, is there any possibility of changing it?

I cannot believe the amount of whining other managers get up to and do not receive a caution, yet Mourinho seems to be punished for looking at people the wrong way. Absolute nonsense from the FA. Wenger was practically slating the ref after yesterday's game while he pushed the 4th official in the previous one. Klopp has also not been innocent of this. Grr.

Rojo got booked for being slapped
What else do you expect from the F.A.

No, I wasn't surprised myself. Just amazing that the FA is so damn unpredictable, seems to do the opposite of what's considered fair most of the time. Oh well, should help get the team behind Mourinho's us against the world attitude.

The lack of consistency is amazing.

Today's press are reporting Wenger's anger at referees. Im awaiting FA apology.
Forget what the specialist in failure says or does. If the FA choose to look favourably on him, it doesn't change the fact that his team have the constitution of a wet paper bag.

I'd love to here the FA's actual reason behind this decision, presuming there is one that is?

The FA are happy as things are. Managers come out with petty remarks about their staff and they end up getting fined a lot of money - it may not seem much in the football world but it is for the FA, especially if it occurs as often as it does. Managers or clubs will usually always pay as well without question.

If the FA want a real deterrent then they should deduct points for remarks about officials.

Imho, I think referees and officials should be freely criticised by managers. It should be part of the job - taking abit of stick every now and then. The censorship on comments regarding officials is abit backwards. What is the actual reason for these fines and bans? Is it to stop the officials getting offended?

A lot of people get their feelings hurt these days, over the slightest criticism. Freedom of speech doesn't exist in the UK and certainly not as far the FA are concerned, and they want to protect their little feelings.

With Wenger getting off scott free again, I'm absolutely certain at this point the FA and Refs are using him to wind up Mourinho further.

You simply can't have one rule for one and another for someone else.

I'm "telling a forum" that Jose deliberately indulges in a type of behaviour that often warrants sanction. At best it cultivates a seige mentality, at worst it's old hat and a tad boring. He's not picked on, that's just a fan's blinkered perspective.
Being frustrated at an FA double standard is not being blinkered, as you sanctimoniously claim.

I don't mind if Jose gets banned, as long as other managers are subject to the same sanctions. To ignore the double standard, or pretend it doesn't exist, as you are doing, is more blinkered than venting frustrations as some on this forum are doing. Justified frustrations, I might add, when we see other managers saying and doing as they please with no repercussions.

Guess we have a different perspective...who knew?

Anyone think there is potential conflict of interest with the FA and the England manager job? For example, they might be targeting Wenger for England at the end of his contract, so it would be in their interest to butter him up and not upset him.

Next time Mo is asked about refs he's response should be:
'Didn't you here? It's a zoo out there!'

So all Jose has to do next time is put on some glasses and a French accent.

"I'd be lion if I said the useless cnut got everything right."
