Mikhi and mata will be rotated quite a bit this season unless they are in top top form which I don't see happening.

Agreed, but there is no denying the energy Lingard brings to the team. He works his socks off, and at pretty good speed, which forces the defense to think faster and make mistakes.

I am not sure if he is even playing that well, but I am glad people like it. So many times he makes important simple things that many people don't give him credit for.

Mourinho also likes him to go near our left side whenever we are combining on that side, wether it's for throw in, corner or when we are keeping the ball more than usual. He knows his intelligent movement and passing will allow us more space for other players there. Such an intelligent and underrated player.
